Fleming Point was very nice. The staff there was also very good, but it's too expensive. They showed me their studio-type apartments, and they were breathtaking. They were doing exercises during my visit. The facility looked well maintained.

It's wonderful. The best place. I love it. They take their time and they answer all your questions, and you feel comfortable. I like my apartment. I just have a studio, one person, one bedroom. They clean, they vacuum once a week, and they clean the toilet and stuff, which I do every day but they come and do it, too. The food is average. I was in another place before this and the food is about the same. When you're feeding a lot of people, it's very hard to accommodate everybody. I'll be 91 and no matter what age you are, they're very accommodating. You don't have to worry, you're very safe here. It was hard getting used to when you leave your home, but I do like it.

My mother moved into The Village at Unity, and so far so good. They're very helpful and very nice. She has a 1-bedroom, they serve her meals, they provide transportation, and they've a number of activities. They have outings to different stores, different restaurants, they have schools come in and do shows, and they have music every week. They play cards, they have movies, and parties. They have a beauty salon, a library, a garden, exercise rooms, and a yoga studio.

Fleming Point was a very nice facility, the apartments were large, and the staff was good. They gave a full tour, and I saw the independent living section. The drawback was the location, it was farther away.

The Landing of Brighton was very warm, friendly, and has a very clean environment. It's definitely an assisted living, so I was a little disappointed because there weren't full kitchen facilities but I understand why they couldn't have it. It's for safety reasons. The other thing I didn't like about this place was that in a couple of units I was shown, they didn't have closets and they'll only get an armoire. The staff who gave me the tour was very knowledgeable, she knew all the rules, the regulations, she knew everything. I saw the residents sitting in common areas, but I didn't see any structured activities at the time. It was a very nice place, it's just not something we need. They gave me a lovely cake as well.

Fleming Point was very nice and the people were very friendly, but the location is not ideal for me and my relatives. But it had some interesting things and they have other places nationwide that you could reserve a room to stay in. The staff was very friendly and showed me around, everything in the rooms that I was shown was fine. It's a couple of miles from the beachy areas so that's nice to know. They're also near a bunch of shopping area, church and a school with sports activities. So I would have things I enjoy, so that part was good.

My friend stayed at The Landing of Brighton assisted living. It's a beautiful place but the care leaves a lot to be desired since they're very short-staffed. My friend loved the food and the dining area. The rooms were gorgeous, and she loved them. They provided a lot of little games, movie days and nights, ice cream days and cookouts. They kept the people engaged. It's a brand-new and beautiful place. For the price, it's a pretty good deal. They're very understaffed and there's no communication among the people working there. I'd give the medical staff and aides a 1 because a lot of stuff came up missing and stolen from there.

Fleming Point is a beautiful place and the staff is wonderful. They have a whole list of stuff that they offer, like Wii bowling, pool room and activities center. It's a gorgeous and clean place. It had a very comfortable feeling to it. It didn't feel like you were in a hotel, but in a home.

We chose Fleming Point for my father and he's very happy. They do have a lot of activities, the food is very good, he's very happy, and he gets 3 meals a day. His living area is not as spacious as I had hoped, but it's fine for him, and his bedroom is very spacious. The staff is very nice and very friendly. They have common sitting areas, common dining area, laundry area that tenants can use, and they have an area for pool table, and things like that.
