Summit at Glenwyck was too expensive, but they were great. The manager was excellent. The place was gorgeous. Everything was beautiful. I loved it there. They didn't have a one-bedroom available. The only thing available was a two-bedroom, and it was too expensive for my aunt. They offered breakfast, a beauty salon, and exercise. Everything was excellent.

We visited the Meadows at Glenwyck. The staff seemed friendly, made us feel comfortable, and tried to find out what we wanted and what we liked. Its apartment-type living. I think they only offer breakfast, so they did not prepare food for us.

Holiday at the Atrium wasn't a place I want to be. It was too near traffic. It was in a busy area. It's one of the older facilities that I visited and I didn't like the layout as much. It was very open. The eating area was at the bottom floor and then they had an upper floor, which was open, so everybody around the upper floor could look out and watch the activities on the lower floor. The lady that showed me around said that they tried to arrange it like a ship and I didn't like that feeling. The areas for the activities, the library, and exercises were smaller. I happened to get there close to a holiday, so they set it up for an event for the residents and they did a very nice job, but again it was in an open area, and I don't like the idea of not having some privacy at times. They have specialized trips for going to the grocery store, and they have arranged activities using the equipment, like the treadmill.

I visited Holiday at the Atrium. It looked clean and the person who accommodated me was great. We also had lunch there and the food that I had was good. The dining area was nice, except there was too much sunlight coming in through the skylight. They also have a card room and other amenities. We looked at one of the apartments that was furnished and it looked nice.

Holiday at the Atrium had very good opportunities for socializing with the residents. They have three dinners a day in an open common area, transportation to local shopping centers, and a common entertainment room where they can watch television. They also have community activities such as exercise and yoga. There were several staff members including the manager who took us around and they all seemed very knowledgeable, involved, and cordial. We got a warm feeling about them.

The Meadows Glenwyck was fabulous, beautiful, and the best one of them all. The problem was they don't cook or have a meal plan. The apartments and the building were beautiful. They had a beautiful movie room with beautiful chairs.

Holiday at the Atrium wasn't bad, but I did notice a little bit of a musty smell. The way they had it set up was nice all around the atrium, and everybody had their own interior private balcony. The people seemed very nice. The cost was quite a bit higher. They had good amenities, an indoor pool, and a big workout room. They also had a church right in there.
Go a bit further out to explore pricing and amenities.
