I toured Cedar Ridge, of course we have the pandemic virus going on right now, they seem to not have anybody around. It seemed to me like they were in some kind of inspection process. If I wanted to do something like that, I would go in there for sociability, but their sociability seems to be non-existent for one thing. The guy I talked to was very nice. The room was essentially a 1-room, and it was very small. It was in the first floor, and they had an outside entrance to it. The whole thing was unfurnished. The guy has called me back once or twice since then, and talked to me further about it. It was right in the center of town, so there was no lawn. But the guy did a nice job.

Evelyn and the Options team provide care in the Independent Living where my mom currently lives. The services they provide are just what she needs to continue to stay in the Independent Living. I like how I can communicate at any time with them with questions, requests, and knowing any changes they may see with my mom. They are always consistent and go a little extra with helping her with her needs. I would highly recommend the Options team with your care needs.

I had a nice visit at Cedar Ridge. Their rooms are really nice. They have games and things like that for the residents. And the guy who runs the place told me to come by any time I want to. They provide three meals a day, and a snack. I think they stood out because they offer good service, which is really nice. They take the seniors out shopping, they go places and take trips. The dining room is really nice. It's right by the lobby when you come in the door, and you smell the food when you come in there.

Cedar Ridge is a very nice place. The staff members are extremely helpful. The place is certainly more than adequate. The pricing for the area it is in is also reasonable. The food is good, the care is good, and the maintenance is good. They do have a lot of scheduled activities, but my mother simply is not interested. However, she is very happy and content being there. She has lots of friends her age (obviously); she just loves it there. It is probably the best fit I have seen for her, and she is the happiest I have seen her in probably ten years. The staff has been excellent working with me, with my mother, and catering to her specific needs. The grounds and the buildings are well-maintained. The value is good; it is exceptional.

Cedar Ridge was too expensive and too fancy. The apartment that we could afford was on the second floor. If we have a dog, my wife would have to go downstairs, which is not easy for her to do. They have an elevator, but it's quite a ways from where the apartment was. It didn't seem suitable for us. We didn't feel like we'd be comfortable there, but it had lots of sitting rooms and game rooms, and the food we had was fine. They had a beauty parlor there and libraries as well.

My mom is in Homeplace of Burlington's memory care unit. We are really pleased with them and their director, Bonnie. Overall we've had a good impression. We have been pleased with the staff and how they treat their residents. Everyone seems to be very caring, so we don't have any complaints.

I want to move into Cedar Ridge. It was fine. They showed us around the community and gave us a good rundown of what is available and what to expect. After looking at their menu and talking to some of the residents, I don't think that the meals are going to be a problem at all. Residents were doing some crafts while we were there. I only met 2 staff members and they were excellent. The facilities were excellent too. The main reason I chose this community was its closeness to my family.

I saw Cedar Ridge for my mother. It was clean, the staff was friendly, and it was the closest one to my home. We looked at studios, they were spacious with a lot of storage, and were very nice. It was very easy to get to, the grounds were very pretty, manicured, and very nice. I recommend it, and my mother should be going there sometime in September or October.
