Since 2005, Haven Family Care homes have been serving Raleigh-area seniors with a new way of care in an intimate homelike setting. We understand that big assisted living facilities are not for everyone and have chosen our home locations in great friendly neighborhoods, where you will feel comfortable and at peace.

Most residents enjoy their own private room, but some of our homes offer semiprivate room options as well. Each home has been designed with seniors in mind, offering extra-wide hallways and bathrooms with roll-in showers. You'll also be happy to note there are ample front and back yards as well as patios, allowing residents a comfortable place to and enjoy the outdoors.

Our helpful caregivers prepare nutritious meals three times daily and can make special accommodations such as for low-sodium and diabetic diets. Each resident's room includes amenities such as wall-to-wall carpeting and cable TV. We also offer a number of social, leisure and recreational activities, tailored to suit the interests of each resident.

Available Services

Unlike large assisted living communities, the resident to caregiver ratio at the Haven at Southern Oaks is three-to-one, meaning that our staff are always nearby and able to respond. Because our small and intimate care homes allow for consistent supervision, we are able notice changes in patterns that indicate a need for a change in how care is provided.

We have invested in our homes, ensuring that we can accommodate those with a variety of health and wellness needs, such as mobility support. Having been designed with the goal of enabling seniors' independence, you can age in place and expect that we will work hard to assist you through all life's changes.
