The location is about the only good thing about Villa Serena apartments. Parking lot is overcrowded, and a few rusty old cars serve as a grim reminder of what is going to happen to yours once you move in. Car covers are not allowed, and neither is a light car wash with the store bought supplies. Not even windows wash which is a violation of the rental agreement and can affect your security deposit. There are only a few of the handicapped parking spaces — come on, this building is for the older folks who’d need these spaces more than the younger staff members. But who cares? Definitely not the management.

Avoid this building at all costs. It is infested with bed bugs, my mother was subjected to multiple episodes and subsequent chemicals trying to get rid of them. We finally had to move her out, had to throw out all her belongings and get her set up in a new apartment at a cost of about $4000. Now the Villa cashed our last rent check but apparently didn\'t record it properly and a collection agency is calling and harassing our 84 year old mother. Disgusting and despicable.

I went to Hilltop Village. It was nice, but it didn't meet her needs, because she wasn't able to do independent living. The facility and the grounds were nice, but it was an older facility of the others I looked at. The carpeting was old and the decor, but it was well maintained. I didn't feel that great with the staff. I did come late, but it was not as welcoming as the others I visited. They had a store for the seniors right there in the building, they had a little chapel area, they did have a courtyard (I know that they said for them to do their own gardening if they so choose to do that), and a small little patio area for them also. There was parking because it was an independent living, and some of the seniors were still driving their own vehicles.

Woodside Senior Living has neat little apartments, and we like the fact that they're on the first floor, so they don't have to do any stairs. Everybody seemed generally happy there. The staff answered a lot of questions, which was very good. They offered suggestions about how we can pay and how to find eligibility and things like that. It looked great. It seemed like the residents have a lot of time to interact with each other and that they don't have to be closed off.

I think that Woodside Senior Living is very nice. I like it, that's why I'm moving there. I visited everything that they offer. It's very pleasant, and I would like to be there and enjoy their activities. Everybody was friendly and I was very impressed. I know there's bingo and other activities offered; I'm looking forward to that since I don't like to be isolated. I like the person that showed me around. I like the apartments, their dining room, and outside area; it's all so homey and nice. Their apartments are beautiful, and they have a large dining room. It's definitely worth the value for the money. They have a cleaning lady that comes in and they clean their room. Once a week somebody comes in and strips their bed and towels, and they have a washing machine that the residents can use if they want to wash their clothes.

Woodside Senior Living seemed large, but it could use some updating. The rooms were beautiful, spacious, and had nice features. The staff during the tour was lovely, friendly, outgoing, and informative. They had a dining area, and they had a schedule of activities. The memory care unit seemed well staffed, and they were caring people.

My dad is currently a resident of Parkside Villa. He's getting great care, hospice has been wonderful to him and he's being treated very well. The staff is very helpful and informative, they're great and work really well with him. The place is always very clean every time I go in there, areas outside are always kept up and it's really nice. So far, I'm very happy with what's going on. I would rate the food 4, it depends on what kind of day it is.

Woodside Senior Living was nice, neat, and clean. Everybody was active, sitting around, and talking. I saw two places, and the other one had a lot more activities and offered more in terms of availability of the exercise room or physical therapy than Woodside. They had arts and crafts and a listing of neighborhood activities. They had several nice-sized dining areas depending on how far the residents will be able to walk. The staff was very nice, professional, took the time to show us around, and answered our questions. It wasn't smelly.
