My mother moved into Brookdale Lakeview Crossing. My siblings and I really like it, and Mom seems to like it as well. Overall, its a really nice facility. The people have been very responsive when she needs help. Its nice, clean, and well taken care of. They have a lot of activities for the residents, like exercises every morning after breakfast, physical exercises, mental exercise, arts and crafts, field trips a couple of times a month, and live music every Friday. They give them a choice for meals, and its almost like being in a small restaurant. They have a choice of three different entrees, four different sides, and desserts. The food is nutritious and healthy.

Brookdale Lakeview Crossing is wonderful. They've been very good to my mother and with communicating with us as they respond quickly when there is an issue. We don't have complaints. She is in the memory care unit, and they're constantly engaged in many different activities every day all day, which is just what they need. They serve three meals a day and snacks in between. They do medications, referred to as direct and redirect. She dresses and cleans herself, but they need to direct her to do that. They need to tell her it's time to take a shower today, just keeping her on track. The staff is very pleasant, very helpful, and very attentive. I was most impressed with their attentiveness and their kindness, but they are not patronizing to my mother; they're respectful. They're very nice people, my mother said. It's expensive, but we're getting our money's worth. I'm confident that she is getting good care every day.

My dad is in Brookdale Lakeview Crossing. It's a pretty good place, it's kept clean, and the layout is good for the residents. He's getting good service there and it seems like they're taking good care of him. The dining area is fine, he complains about the food all the time, but he's also a very picky eater. They have a lot of activities throughout the day, they have exercise classes, they work on puzzles, and they also have outings where they go shopping or eat out.

My sister is getting good care at Brookdale Lakeview Crossing. She wasn't until I started complaining a lot, but she should not have been just in assisted living because she couldn’t take care of herself. Now, she's getting much better care now that they've been made aware that she needs constant care. Most of the time they're understaffed, and sometimes people ring those red buttons and don't get the help they need quickly enough. For as much money as they charge for each of these people, I don’t understand why there is not more help. The grounds are very nice. The place doesn't smell when you walk in, and it's very clean and pleasant. They have activities, and they have very good meals. The pricing is outrageous.
