Unfortunately since they changed owners, it\'s not a nice place to call home. Most of the original staff quit, and they never have enough help to adequately care for their patients.

It has been very good, and the staff has been great. I've talked to the nurse and my mother's aides, and they call me and keep me updated. We're not allowed to visit yet because we're still in quarantine, but the staff has been very good in calling me and communicating anything that's changed with her. They're always very nice when I go there to drop things off, and they were great when we moved in. I've had a very nice experience with the entire process so far. They always make an effort to get everybody down to the dining room, so that they at least all eat together and have some kind of socialization. They all got their COVID vaccinations yesterday or the day before. I've personally gotten a phone call from her nurse and some of her aides, letting me know what she needs or how she's responding that day. When she didn't want to take a shower, they called to let me know that they couldn't force her, but they made sure that she's clean and she was OK with that. I'm only rating them a 4 because all the services haven't been utilized yet because of COVID. The day that they let me in, they've provided lunch for me and my mother in her room, which was a sweet and sour chicken dish over rice, and it was good.

It was a beautiful place, it was really nice, and the staff was very helpful, but it's strictly self pay, so it's a dead end. They had a beauty shop/barber, they had a dog staying there, and they had an exercise area. It was top notch.

Within a week of her admission, my mother's medications were assessed and changed by the staff psychiatric team. The staff is overwhelmingly compassionate and hands-on. My mother was suicidal and had been at several nursing homes and psych wards prior to Danridge's Burgundi Manor, none of them provided her with the care she needed. I personally can't say enough good things about the place.

It is excellent. It is very clean and very decorative. I am very proud of the little community they have there. I am very proud of the aides and of the nurses. I am very proud at how they mix and mingle like one little family. It's a little expensive, but it is very nice. We probably could have afforded to share a room with someone because they do that. If you can afford one room, it is phenomenal. They have entertainment and singing. We watched all the aides get the people that were very sickly and get them up and dancing. We enjoyed ourselves. The staff members were very loving. It was like a family-oriented thing.
