Choices abound for your housing at Longwood of Oakmont. The Grandview at Longwood offers apartment-style living with views of downtown Pittsburgh while the Garden Apartments will appeal to gardeners with its garden or patio right out the back door. Country homes offer the same comforts as a house with the benefit of community living. Studio, one- and two-bedroom floor plans are available and features include a kitchen, washer/dryer and patios.

But with all the activities and amenities available, you likely won't find yourself at home for very long! With our indoor swimming pool and state-of-the-art fitness room you can achieve your fitness goals, and for relaxed exercise, there is a putting green and shuffleboard. Art classes and life-long learning classes allow you to express your creativity with other residents who share your passion.

Chef-prepared meals are always on the menu at our three dining venues, which range from casual at the Commons Grille to fine dining. Sweet and sour short ribs, pork tenderloin with plum sauce and fresh catches of the day are just a few of the delicious entrees that will make you not missing cooking at all. And you can even request takeout for the nights you want to dine in.

Our residents' wellness is our utmost concern, which is why we offer classes, such as strength training and cardio workouts, to promote physical well-being. But when you do need assistance to remain independent or require health care services, you won't have to leave home since our campus has personal care services at Brookwood and Parkview, and our five-star-rated Hanna HealthCare Center, which features memory care, skilled nursing and rehabilitation.
