My mom is a current resident at Providence Place. She has moved through different levels of care and each level has been and as great as the first. I have to say that the staff are wonderful. They are caring , friendly and always ready to help. I am so glad to see my mom happy and well cared for. I would certainly refer anyone to this facility.

My dad is in Autumn House West. The room is fine; the facility is fine. However, their food is not very good, according to my dad. The staff are good. They play bingo and somebody comes in and sings. They're not taking them out of course. That's about all I know of their activities. My dad is bored there. Well, they have pretty much the same amenities with others. They have a salon and a TV room. It's basically everything that everybody else has. Value for money is good. They need to improve on the food; they need a chef that could cook. Their communication skills aren't very good, but they're getting a new administrator. The last administrator was OK. It's more of the nurses and the front desk staff that is hard to communicate with.

Colonial Harbor was clean. The 1-bedroom apartment was fine and clean. The staff who showed us around was very helpful. The dining area was clean, and the food was great. They had an activities calendar, a fitness room, a rehab, and a library.

Kittery Estates' pricing was better. The food was excellent, the service was phenomenal, and the person who brought us around did a great job. They explained what the place had to offer and what they were looking to do. It was great.

We liked Chandler Place very much. We were quite happy with the layout of the apartments. It has a very small, full kitchen, a separate room for the bedroom, and a bath. Everybody was very friendly and helpful, very pleasant, and smiling. We were happy with the dining room staff, and the food was really good. It's a little bit of an older facility.

My aunt was in Providence Place of Dover. She had a very nice room with a little kitchenette, bathroom, and facilities. It was comfortable, and she liked it there. They're understaffed, but they were OK. They had all kinds of activities, and she participated in them. They had several common rooms, a chapel, a big dining area, activity rooms, and social activities.

I like Colonial Harbor, but it's over in York County. The lady I know has a very nice room, and the dining area looked good, but it's too far from me. They have a lot of activities, and the residents were very nice. It was decorated nicely and kept clean.

Kittery Estates is superb. They're wonderful, very helpful, and very kind. They were having a sing-along when we came in, and it was very lively. They have a library, rooms for entertainment, and arts. The residents were very pleasant, very content, and very friendly. The dining area was very pleasant. The rooms were wonderful. They have everything you think you might want. I was very impressed. Even though it's independent, they have great connections to the local healthcare services. It just didn't have a lot of outdoor recreational services. There's no pool or exercises outside, but they have very beautiful grounds. The staff relationship seemed very positive and very professional. They're very warm, welcoming, and very pleasant. The facility was very well laid out and very clean. It's ten years old, but it looks like it was opened yesterday. The room layout was perfect. I would want one of the larger suites with two bedrooms.

It was comfortable. The gentleman who gave me the tour was very pleasant. They had games and served two meals a day, which you pay for. The dining room was immaculate, nice, and clean. The negative was that the apartments were very small. It's an older building and kind of chopped up, so it needs to be remodeled.
