<p>Sunset Homes was established in September 1990 and is a privately owned company comprised of two homes located in Laguna Niguel, California. We have two beautiful Care Homes to choose from just a 1/2 mile away from each other.  Each home may accommodate a total of six residents.</p>

<p><b>Placement </b>- Each home is comprised of residents based on there alertness and ability to perform activities of daily living, such as personal hygiene, dressing, ability to walk and use of the bathroom. All potential clients are assisted prior to admission, generally following a tour of one of the homes. Then together with a member of the family, a decision is made as to which home is most appropriate.</p>

<p>Our newly remodeled upscaled home has both private and sharing rooms. Our private rooms are good size and each resident will feel comfortable and right at home. The rooms are furnished, but every resident can furnish his or her room to have that “at home feel”. Every room has cable, telephone, and internet access via WiFi. Skype and Face-time also are available.</p>

<p>We have a family kitchen with good “old fashioned” cooking which includes gluten-free choices. Snacks are offered twice daily and available 24 hours. Mealtime is an enjoyable get-together for our residents.</p>

<p>Seaside Terrace II is a six-unit residential care facility equipped to provide dementia care as well as manage and administer medication. Emergency pendants enable 24/7 awake-and-present staff to respond quickly in urgent situations. Physical therapy services and assistance with the activities of daily life, such as dressing and grooming, are available, and a doctor regularly visits the home. New residents may utilize move-in assistance, and all units are studio apartments. </p>
<p>Complementary on-site beauty services and daily entertainment are all fixtures of life at Seaside Terrace II. Community members play games in the entertainment room, enjoy access to an exercise room and take advantage of complimentary transportation assistance.
