<p>Gladhaven, on the Westchester-Connecticut border, is a small senior independent living residence that provides personal care for those who need a â€œjust a little moreâ€. This family-run senior home is a Victorian mansion with authentic Victorian furnishings throughout which have been collected by the owner, Susan Roche.</p>

<p>There are marble fireplaces (closed) in 5 of the rooms and ten-foot ceilings with plaster moldings. The large windows overlooking the garden give the rooms wonderful light and an airy comfort that all the residents appreciate.</p>

<p>It is located on the New York - Connecticut border in the King Street area of the town of Rye Brooke New York, and Greenwich, Connecticut. The small size allows the staff to cater to individual needs on a personal basis and provide all the comforts of home.</p>

<p>Rooms are all private and comfortably furnished or residents may use their own furniture. All rooms face outside. They are large, attractive and available for single occupancy. Suites are offered, and couples are encouraged to enjoy the saving afforded by sharing a room.</p>

Parish Court Parish Court is a HUD Apartment. HUD residents usually pay 30% of their gross income for rent. The rent amount, less approved HUD deductions such as medical and child care expenses, and other allowances, includes a utility allowance. HUD Residents also may choose to pay what is known as flat rent. The HACC works with applicants to determine which rent arrangement is best for them. Schoolhouse Apartments is a three story renovated school building. It has 30 one-bedroom apartments and 10 efficiency apts., which are served by one elevator. This facility includes a lobby, community room, computer room, laundry, offices, and maintenance areas. There is a secure entry system located in the lobby of the building.<BR/>

There is a small amount of resident bulk storage. Schoolhouse is a smoke free, pet friendly community. There is a laundry room located on the main floor with four washing machines and four dryers..<BR/>
