<p>Dominion Senior Living of Louisville will be located in Northfield and will strive to meet and exceed seniors' spiritual, mental and physical needs on a daily basis through technological integration, life enrichment activities and professionally trained nurses and caregivers who are available 24 hours a day. The 42,000 square foot one-story building will include 41 assisted living and 20 memory care apartments. Dominion Senior Living plans to open in the Fall of 2018.</p>

<p>Puritan Apartments is situated in the historic neighborhood of Old Louisville. It is situated near the TARC bus line, a nearby community center and several shopping centers. Because this is a historic community, renovated buildings are situated among a Victorian-style house.&nbsp;</p><p>The floorplans at the Puritan Apartments consist of one- and two-bedroom units. Utilities are included, and property managers are on-site to help seniors with any issues they might have. The security system adds an extra layer of security for residents. This building is exclusively for seniors aged 62 and older.&nbsp;</p><p>Amenities include secure building access, pool, sundeck, cable-ready apartments and high-speed Internet in each unit. The building is also pet-friendly. Each unit has an eat-in kitchen and storage units. Planned social activities offer opportunities for engagement, and there is a pet play area for those residents with furry friends. A clubhouse and activity room are on-site, and there's a lounge for residents to gather.&nbsp;</p>

Puritan the Apartments

Welcome to Shalom Tower! Shalom Tower is a federally-funded independent living facility for older adults and handicapped persons owned and managed by Urban Innovations. Located adjacent to the Jewish Community Center, it offers an opportunity for residents to participate in community activities. Shalom Tower has 144 one-bedroom and six two-bedroom apartments, and a floor dedicated to residential activities and programs.

Shalom Tower is just one link in a referral network that assures seniors the availability of needed services, such as housekeeping, home health care and meal programs. The Jewish Community of Louisville also works with other agencies to monitor senior adult activities.
