Cornell Care & Rehabilitation Center has been part of the Union community since 1964 and well-known for its outstanding staff and programs.  Cornell offers a full range of nursing and rehabilitation services in a beautiful, home-like setting.

Cornell's state-of-the-art medical and rehabilitative sub-acute care is tailored to each individual's needs. They provide up to seven days a week of therapy with a focused and aggressive approach to getting their patients back on their feet and in their own homes. RUNNELLS Specialized Hospital of Union County is a unique, state-of-the-art facility providing personalized services to meet each patients needs on a 45-acre mountain top tract of land which offers breathtaking, panoramic views of the Watchung Mountains. This Skilled Nursing Care provider offers short term, subacute care as well and long term care. Respite stays are also available. Staffed daily by physicians and a full complement of professional nurses, the team includes advanced practice nurses, psychiatrists, psychologist, and professional social workers. Full time occupational, physical and activities therapists design individualized programs for residents to improve physical abilities, build greater self-reliance and strengthen interpersonal skills. Residents of RUNNELLS enjoy on-site dental, beautician and barber services, a nondenominational chapel staffed by a variety of pastoral care providers, private landscaped secure courtyards and coffee and gift shop. Runnells is known throughout the region for providing compassionate care for those needing either palliative or hospice services. The nonprofit facility is affiliated with Trinitas Regional Medical Center, providing continuous care or short-term assistance. Mattano Park and Elizabeth River Park are also nearby.Brother Bonaventure is staffed by physicians, nurses, and speech, physical and occupational therapists dedicated to the well-being of the residents.
