<p>Deaconess-Zane Center is located in the historic Old Brooklyn neighborhood of Cleveland, OH. Residents have access to a number of medical facilities, including MetroHealth Old Brooklyn Campus and Senior Health and Wellness Center. The local area also boasts a wide range of amenities, such as retail shops and restaurants, as well as easy public transportation into downtown Cleveland.&nbsp;</p><p>Deaconess Senior Housing is an independent living community for seniors over the age of 62. The six-story apartment building offers studio and one-bedroom apartments, some designed for seniors who are mobility impaired.</p><p>The first floor of the building features a community room where residents can enjoy socializing with neighbors, playing games and watching TV. Residents also have access to a laundry room and a scenic courtyard with picnic tables and a fountain. Activities include bingo, crafts, line dancing and special trips. Residents can also take advantage of transportation to appointments.&nbsp;</p>

HappyToBeHome comes with all of the amenities that you would receive in a larger institution but with the hands-on care, you would expect to receive at a smaller senior living home. We keep our residents close to our hearts.  We are invested in the care of our residents and want to ensure that everyone is having their needs meet and exceeded while staying with us.  Our facility holds more of independence.  We give our residents the assistance that is required to stay in their own private room as well as the convenience that is needed to branch out and keep a social life, participate in activities and more. Welcome to Harvard Village! Renovations have begun on Harvard School, a turn-of-the-century schoolhouse in Cleveland, Ohio's historic Slavic Village. A former elementary school, Harvard School closed its doors in the mid-1980&#39;s, and later served as a district administration building. NCR purchased the property in 2000. Plans call for Harvard Village Senior Apartments to be comprised of 48 one- and two-bedroom units, including several units specifically designed for disabled persons. NCR will pump over $6 million of improvements into the three-story building. Units will range from 650 to 850 square feet.<BR><BR>
Special financing will allow NCR to offer reduced rents. Harvard Village Senior Apartments is a tax-credit community, which means that rents will be approximately 25% lower than the area&#39;s prevailing rate. Forty percent (40%) of the units will be available to seniors whose income is at, or below, 50% of the area median. The remaining units are designated for seniors whose income is at, or below 60% of the area median. Water, trash, and sewer services will be included in the rent.<BR><BR>
Renovation on the re-named Harvard Village Senior Apartments is expected to be completed in late 2002.<BR>
