<p>Colonial Park Care Center is a skilled nursing center with 198 beds. It is situated near five major hospitals and is 10 minutes away from downtown Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The community&nbsp;provides a range of services, including specialty and memory care.&nbsp;Short-term care and rehabilitation stays are also options.</p><p>All residents have their choice of attending physician. Additional care comes from specialists, including dentists, psychiatrists and optometrists. Registered and licensed practical nurses are on the staff as well, as are rehabilitation therapists and certified nursing assistants. A dietitian&nbsp;is available. Various teams handle housekeeping, laundry and maintenance duties.</p><p>The center runs a restorative nursing program, which creates a customized care plan based on each resident's goals. Also of note is the facility's Center for the Memory Impaired, which serves residents with Alzheimer's and other memory-related conditions. Here, specially trained staff members help residents socialize and retain their top levels of function.</p>
