Statues near the facility's entrance represent the five branches of the armed forces. Merli Veterans Center is a 196-bed facility that offers skilled nursing care and memory care. Staff members provide the necessary support for veterans to lead active, healthy, and independent lives to the greatest extent possible. Seniors can get fresh air while enjoying the sunshine from the covered pavilion in the courtyard, and horticulture-inclined residents can plant flowers and vegetables in the victory garden.&nbsp; The facility also hosts an onsite chapel, a barbershop, a beautician, and a snack shop.
