Transportation services are available to take residents on shopping trips, medical care or other outings. Because we have staff available around the clock, seven days a week, your safety, security and health are ensured. Our caregivers are there to proactively help with activities of daily living such as mobility, grooming, bathing, and medication management. Additionally, our on-site skilled nursing is always available, meaning that residents can age in place.

Our Physical Therapists work with individuals to increase mobility after a stroke and improve muscle tone through personalized exercise programs. These hands-on experts focus on results-oriented programming to help individuals continue to enjoy active and healthy lifestyles.
 
The major focus of Occupational Therapy is re-training individuals with injuries or debilitating conditions in basic living skills, such as dressing, bathing, and homemaking. Individuals learn energy conservation techniques as well as the correct use of adaptive equipment so that they regain confidence and independence.
 
The Speech Pathologists assess and treat individuals who experience communication and swallowing difficulties. After evaluating the individual's speech, language/communication and cognitive/thinking/reasoning skills, they work to enhance or restore the highest possible level of function and ability.

It is the first apartment building of its kind in the city of Pittsburgh and contains 142 apartments: 127 one-bedroom and 15 two Â­bedrooms. There is a brand new Connected Living Computer Center, a Fitness Center, a Wellness Office and a large Community Room on the 15th floor with great views of the city. Welcome to St Ambrose Manor! St. Ambrose Manor is a 10-story senior hi-rise apartment building with 101 one-bedroom units in the Spring Hill neighborhood of Pittsburgh's Northside. All apartments have a full kitchen, bath, and living room and are 504 square feet in size. All are wired for HD cable television. Each unit has a full-size balcony, 20-feet long by 5-feet wide.
 
The North-facing apartments overlook the quiet residential neighborhood of Spring Hill. The South-facing apartments have a commanding view of the Allegheny River Valley, from Pittsburgh's Golden Triangle to the west to the Highland Park Bridge to the east.
 
Two recently modernized elevators serve all floors of the building, which contains the Caligiuri Commons Room for parties and recreational activities, a first-floor lobby, a full laundry, a billiard room, and computer room with free internet access. Individual mail boxes for each apartment are conveniently located between the first floor lobby and the elevators. The on-site managers can be reached seven days a week.
 
Entry to the apartment building itself is by a Fob Keyless system, monitored by security cameras. Entry to each apartment unit is by a separate key. Guests and workmen can call individual apartments from the front door and be â€œbuzzed inâ€ by residents, who can monitor the lobby entryway on their television sets (Channel 952). Security cameras also monitor the 
resident's parking lot and entrance sidewalk. Weekly activities, ranging from bingo, to a grocery trip, to an exercise class, to a Wii bowling league, are offered throughout the year.

Its close proximity to the local interstates ensures quick access to the shopping, dining and cultural experiences in Pittsburgh and other surrounding townships.
A retirement community for active adults over the age of 55, Stonebrook Village features luxurious independent living apartments, restaurant-style dining and complimentary transportation. Staff members organize monthly social events and assist with grocery shopping and housekeeping. The facility brings in visiting podiatrists to help residents with personal fitness and mobility.
Seniors have many amenities available at Stonebrook Village including a heated garage located in the building. An on-site salon offers beauty and hair treatments. Walking paths and a patio garden allow residents to enjoy the outdoors alone or with friends around the community, and the indoor TV lounge makes it easy to watch a movie or sporting event as a group. A piano is open for residents to play and is the scene of regular musical entertainment.
