Ashbury Heights’ staff prepares three well-balanced meals per day in addition to wholesome snacks. A well-rounded variety of activities are organized and crafted by our staff, designed to stimulate both the body and mind including social events, outings and games.

Transportation services are available to take residents on shopping trips, medical care or other outings. Additionally, services and amenities are bundled into one affordable monthly rate so there are no surprises.

Because we have staff available around the clock, seven days a week, your safety, security and health are ensured. Our caregivers are there to proactively help with activities of daily living such as mobility, grooming, bathing, and medication management. Additionally, our on-site skilled nursing is always available, meaning that residents can age in place.

Glen Hazel Center is located between Squirrel Hill and the Monongahela River in Pittsburgh, PA. It's near the open-air shopping mall The Waterfront in Homestead, which offers access to more than 70 shops, restaurants and entertainment venues. Our goal is to help you achieve your maximum level of physical, social, mental, and spiritual well-being. Through Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy, we provide a wide variety of activities to stimulate your interests and ability to heal. We work with you at your own pace so that you get back to a life of independence as quickly and safely as possible.
 
Our Physical Therapists work with individuals to increase mobility after a stroke and improve muscle tone through personalized exercise programs. These hands-on experts focus on results-oriented programming to help individuals continue to enjoy active and healthy lifestyles.
 
The major focus of Occupational Therapy is re-training individuals with injuries or debilitating conditions in basic living skills, such as dressing, bathing, and homemaking. Individuals learn energy conservation techniques as well as the correct use of adaptive equipment so that they regain confidence and independence.
 
The Speech Pathologists assess and treat individuals who experience communication and swallowing difficulties. After evaluating the individual's speech, language/communication and cognitive/thinking/reasoning skills, they work to enhance or restore the highest possible level of function and ability.
