Chehalis West has been serving the Lewis County area and has been home to hundreds of residents for the past 26 years. Chehalis West provides assisted living in a safe, secure, friendly, and caring environment. We offer on-site, licensed, nursing staff available 24 hours a day, private, individual apartments, housekeeping and laundry services, three nutritional meals daily, and an on-site beauty salon/barber shop, in addition to many other amenities.

Our building is designed for the safety of the residents in a home-like environment and is staffed with an on-site care team as well as an on-call licensed nurse 24 hours a day. Each apartment has a kitchenette and large private bathroom and was designed with seniors and physically challenged individuals in mind. The Heritage House in Morton is located at the west end of Main Ave., only a few blocks from the hospital. Our small community of 43 residents sits at the end of a quiet neighborhood street, right on the Tilton River, and is surrounded by the beautiful mountains. We offer an active assisted living community, as well as a small, 8 resident memory care neighborhood. The entire community is wrapped around a serene, landscaped courtyard with a gazebo.


Our life enrichment & activity program is headed by a Washington Health Care Association recognized coordinator, Joie Nyman, who keeps the entire community constantly filled with fun & laughter.
