Arcadia was great. As a matter of fact it was my next choice. It's a new place. The people were very nice. It was very clean and bright. It was the most expensive and the farthest one away, but it was very nice and the people were nice. The lady who helped me was super nice. I liked her a lot. I saw a resident painting and there were some ladies playing cards. I liked it, but it was more expensive and farther away than other places.

We chose Uffelman Estates because we like the independence that our mom is going to be having. We also like that she will have a safer place to live. We like the lanyard that has the fall emergency care and the scheduled activities and the overall community feeling. We had some snacks there and those were very good. The staff members that we have met so far were lovely. They were very pleasant, friendly, and we actually got to know some of the other residents there just by walking around and visiting. Everyone seemed to be well-adjusted and happy to be there. It has the feeling of comfort.

My brother moved into the assisted living of Fieldstone Place, and everything is just fine. Everything is great there, the care, the food, and the facilities. Also the apartment, and the attention that he gets, it's a great place. They have tons of activities and amenities. My brother really enjoys it there and really likes the people. He's adjusting pretty well. He loves the food, and he really likes the staff. I think the place itself is very well-maintained.

Fieldstone Place's manager was knowledgeable and congenial. The facility was nice. However, it didn't have all that my mother needed in the way of medical support. I also didn't see a lot of camaraderie between the residents. They need to find ways to get people out of their rooms. The rooms were a little distorted because they had cutouts that would make it hard to place furniture. The day we went, we only saw a couple of people by the fireplace, and the area is not that big. They do have larger areas for meal time, but they don't seem to be using them effectively for other times of the day.

I visited my aunt at Uffelman Estates. It's very nice. I know several people who live there and they're very happy, very active, and engaged in their groups. The food is good. It's a great place. They have bingo, Bible study, and someone comes in and does senior exercise classes. They have a bus that takes them on outings, shopping, and various churches. There's a place where they do their yoga and other senior activities.

Uffelman Estates was an attractive place. The people were pleasant, and the apartments were nice looking. The staff was good and thorough. They showed us a studio and a 1-bedroom with a separate living room, and they both have balconies which were really cute. Housekeeping, cable, full service meal plan, and pretty much all expenses were included except internet and cell phone. They had a wheelchair accessible van for the residents if they need to go to the grocery store or doctors' appointments.

Uffelman Estates was smaller than the other place I visited and not as well kept. It was a much older place. I saw a lot of seniors just sitting around who looked like they were very bored. The apartments were very small and seemed very antiquated. The staff was nice, but not so cheerful and excited to see new people. They only had two options for the meal. The place looked dreary and not bright.

Uffelman Estates was nice, but they were just too high priced for us. The place was very nice and had a lot of amenities, but they didn’t have the care that she needed.
