My dad went to Hollymead for rehab when he got COVID. One wing of the facility was totally cut off, and all they had at that time were COVID patients in their rooms and people going in and out with all their sterilized stuff on. He was there for over two weeks. They did what they had to because under COVID it says that they will have loss of appetite, and my dad didn't come back with COVID, so it's good. We went up and looked through the window during visits, but I don't think he knew that was us, since he has Alzheimer's. The staff would always call us, even with something potentially bad, to tell us about his situation, and that's good. The place looked nice and clean. It looked up to date and functional.

My mother was at Hollymead. Everybody was excellent in communication. They kept me up-to-date on what's going on. They had no Covid issues in that facility. For the most part, other than their director, everybody was great. The food was excellent, the facility was nice, and value for money was pretty good. The only thing keeping them from getting a 5-star rating is the director. She has no patience, and she doesn't listen to you. Those are frustrating issues. I didn't have a problem with anybody except the director.

Rosewood was a good small place, but the room was good for one person. Also, the price was very high. The size of the room for one person was OK. The place was clean and pretty. It was small, but well done and well laid out.

I liked Flower Mound Assisted Living Community. It's a smaller community. The people I spoke with were thorough in showing me and answering any questions I had. The place looked good and very nice. They do laundry services. The person who gave me the tour was pleasant and thorough. The dining room was clean, and had a machine for juice and coffee. The place was more homey than institutional.

I liked Pinewood Hills. I liked their apartments. They were large and spacious with lots of storage space. It wasn't fully furnished, but it was nice. The staff was very professional and very friendly. It was a nice location and the grounds were pretty. It was reasonable. Some residents were going to activities, but I didn't go into the areas where they were doing them. The residents said the food is good.

Pinewood Hills was pretty nice. The rooms were individual and set up pretty nicely. It's a little bit more luxurious and spacious. Debbie was very helpful and trying to accommodate as best as she could.

Pinewood Hills was absolutely beautiful. I loved the grounds. It was very open and spacious. I liked that place. There was no kitchen in the room, which was a downside for me because I still like to cook a little. There was a kitchen downstairs where you could cook and take it upstairs. The rooms were very airy and bright. Upstairs, they had a little balcony, and downstairs, I could let my little dog outside since little dogs and cats were allowed. The manager was very pleasant and showed me around the whole place.

Flower Mound is very homey. I like it. I like the location. It is an older building, but it is clean, and it has wide halls. I talked to one of the residents, and he said it's a great place. He loves it there. However, my mom wants a 1-bedroom, and they didn't have any. The rooms they have are all suites, and they're all one size. They are doing some remodeling. Some of the rooms have been updated.

Pinewood Hills had a lot of amenities, like a hairdresser on-site, and they provided all of the meals. Everyone we met was very nice. They showed me a nice-sized one-bedroom apartment. The whole place was very clean.
