I transferred from a different facility to Ridgmar due to not getting the care that I needed. Ridgmar is fantastic! Their medical team is outstanding!! They really care about their clients and their well-being. I was there for almost 2 months and I was very well taken care of. I was in a head on collision. I cannot say enough good things about this facility. Their physical therapy team got me to the point where I could go home. I am now walking with a walker and as soon as their outpatient therapy starts I will be going back there for more therapy. I want to thank Ridgmar for all that they have done for me and my family to get me well!

I'd been to The Waterford at Fort Worth. It was great. I explained it to my mother and she was excited about being able to do it, but we couldn't afford it. She's on a fixed budget. It was a little bit out of our price range. The lady was really nice. I talked to her several times since then, and she has followed up with me several times. I liked her. The place was really nice and clean. She showed me the apartment that my mom would potentially move into. It was on the first floor like my mother wanted. The staff during the tour was definitely really good. I just had a quick in and out tour, and we wore masks. I can't really explore everything, but I really enjoyed it. There were people out in the living room and talking. It was homey.

We toured Oak Ridge Alzheimer's Special Care Center. We weren't quite ready for everything they were dealing with. They're dealing with quite a few people who were having some significant memory issues, a variety of physical and mental issues, and we aren't just ready for that. The person who accommodated us was very nice. They had movies, games, and they had an athletic facility.

I went to The Waterford at Fort Worth. It's nice, the staff who assisted me was very informative, and she gave me the tour. They still have ongoing activities, of course they follow procedures, wearing a mask, and all that. They have certain arts and crafts, bingo, church services, but limited.

We went to The Waterford at Fort Worth in person. It was very, very nice. The thing is Mom wants to take her puppy with her. There's so many areas for the pets, but Mom would have to cross a parking lot for her yorkie to go do his job. For somebody who doesn't have a dog, it's awesome, but for somebody who has a dog, it's a little dangerous. They have two different exits to let the dogs out, but both of them are a little bit on the unsafe side for elderly people. Other than that, it is awesome. They invited us for lunch. They have a small convenience store there where they can go and pick up stuff. We met some residents, and they highly recommended this place too. It was wonderful, it wasn't just the right place. Everything was clean. People were so nice and caring. It was really wonderful.

Richland Hills was very small. There was no place to walk around. It was a weekend and there was nobody at the front desk. There were people standing at the door on the inside. However, they had the code clearly written on the inside, so that if a resident wanted to leave, they could, and nobody would be there to see it. I wanted to look at the place and the only person there was in the therapy room and she said, "Just look around." I called the administrator and I said I was not received well and no one showed me the place. All the administrator said was, "Okay, goodbye." I was not impressed with the layout because it was too small and I didn't get to see all of it because nobody was there and they weren't interested in showing me the place. They could have friendly staff members, but I don't know for sure.

My visit to Sunrise was very nice, it was great, and it was very comfortable. Everyone was very pleasant, and the seniors looked happy. But there was a senior who fell. He was very bruised in his face, and I was spooked by that. The other patients looked very well attended and clean. The staff was very informative, very nice, were pleasant to be around, showed me everything, and answered all my questions. She didn't tell me what I wanted to hear, just straight up told me the truth, and I felt comfortable with her answers.

We went for a nice lunch at The Vantage at CityView. It was very friendly and nice. It was a hike to go to the room, which probably depends on where it was located. We went to one room for one person, and the rooms were very nice and with enough room.
