I have a family member at this location. I never dreamed I could place my family member in such a lovely environment. The grounds are beautiful, plenty of space to take a walk, sit outside and soak up some sun, or enjoy a shaded patio. I visit several times a week and have not once left worried. The residential rooms are spacious and clean. The common areas are relaxing and well furnished. The residents are all relaxed and quite comfortable in their surroundings. There are no offending odors!! I could not ask for a better staff. From the office down each person I’ve met is friendly, kind and will happily assist in any way they can. They are so very caring, professional and patient with the residents. The decision to place a loved one is hard, hard, hard. Each time I leave from visiting her I have a smile and I’m encouraged that I’ve made the right choice for her. She is well cared for, they have several daily activities from puzzles to fitness as well as games and activities to improve cognitive and memory skills. I find myself thinking I’d like to move there myself! Look no further, this is a well run home for your family member.

This facility is by far the worst place to have a loved one in. The facility is very old and outdated. The hospital beds are completely outdated and not suitable for anyone, let alone sick/ill patients. The staff here should be completely revamped, to say that the staff is incompetent is actually an understatement. The nurses, are not capable of doing their jobs, they are lack basic knowledge and they are very rude and impatient with the patients. The doctors, Dr. Roberto Camacho, specifically, should not by any means be in any type of health care! This chauvinistic, uneducated man, lacks basic knowledge as well! He had no bedside manner, he was extremely rude to my mother(patient) as well as my family! He is incapable of doing his job! My mother was basically discharged with nothing to come home with and my family has been trying to reach the social worker for Garden Terrace, with several failed attempts of course. My mother is currently at home, and she has made “0” progress after being there 15+ days. The physical therapy is below average at Garden Terrace. Everyone single staff member from the nurses, doctors, food administration, social workers, etc. all should reconsider their professions immediately! I absolutely hated this place! I hated every day my mother was there. Please don’t have anyone you love and cherish placed here at Garden Terrace! If I could give this place -5 rating I would!

I went to Ella Springs Senior Living Community. I liked it a lot. It's farther away from me, and I didn't like the layout of the apartments, but it was very nice. It was really pretty, they were very informative, and they walked me around. It was big, and I only saw the assisted living side. It would be a good place for somebody, but it just didn't fit our needs. What impressed me was it was owned by two men, not a company, and they were really hands on there. One of the men called me to confirm my appointment, he told me about the VA benefits that you could apply for, which no other place told me about. That impressed me. I liked that it's individually owned and not a corporation.

Atria Cinco Ranch was very inviting. They were very informative and very friendly. I just saw their one-bedroom, and it was very clean and spacious. They also had all sorts of activities planned on their huge calendar. They had a dining room, a fitness room, a garden, and a courtyard. The facility was well-maintained, and everybody was very nice. Based on when we walked through the building, the food was not really good. Their menu was very detailed. The person who toured us said that the food is made from scratch, and based on COVID, they are getting their food delivered on each floor. One floor would be eating in the dining, while all the other floors would be eating in their rooms through their room service, and they rotate each floor, each day.

I went to Ella Springs Senior Living Community. It was a very nice facility and I liked it a lot. The staff was nice. They have a lot of activities. I was there around lunch time, I just saw the menu, and it looked good. They showed me two-bedrooms, and I liked the fact that they had molding, there was plenty of room, plenty of carpet. It was very nice, but it wasn't real fancy.

It houses 15 hospitals, four nursing schools, three medical schools, two specialty institutions in addition to schools of pharmacy, dentistry, public health and related institutions.
