My mother is at Willow Park Rehabilitation and Care Center for the second time. It's new and modern, and the nursing staff and rehab staff are excellent. Their insurance person could be better; she's not very communicative unless you call her. The facility is beautiful. Their food is marginal, but it's mass quantity. They're cooking for people that have dietary restrictions, so it's not very flavorful. I've made great friends with the nursing staff and the people in rehab. I have no complaints about the facility at all. They have bingo, entertainment, cards, crafts, and a library. They try to keep them busy. It has granite countertops, very nice flooring and carpetting, and they keep it very clean.

We liked Arbor House of Weatherford the best. It was very nice, and the staff was really good. Their apartments were great and really nice. It impressed me more than anything else I've seen.

We went to Arbor House of Weatherford. It was great. My friend wanted a bigger place where I could move in with her. The room that they showed was exactly what she would have needed. It would have been a perfect deal. The walk-in closet space had plenty of room. The bathroom had handicapped amenities. It seemed clean to me. Their food was family-type and OK. I only saw a few staff members, and they seemed OK. It would have been a nice place for my friend. I think she would have gotten some good care there.

The staff member that gave me the tour of Brookdale Weatherford was very nice. The place was great. The thing that I liked the most was that the residents were smiling, and I didn't see that in the other places I visited. They have everything. They have 24-hour security, and they serve three meals a day. The only negative is that the apartments were very small. Although in my mind that's OK because the community itself is small. They have plenty of nice sitting areas, and there's coffee and fruit out all day for the residents. The staff were all engaged with the residents, they were great. They have staff that has worked there for years and that makes a big difference.

We liked the fact that Arbor House of Weatherford had flexibility of different plans and the meals; if the person does not eat breakfast, they don't have to pay for breakfast. You could buy a lunch plan, a dinner plan, a full plan or you could pay for individual meals if you want to. The person who helped me was polite and professional. The location was not ideal, but the grounds were OK. The facility is a little bit older. It shows a little bit of wear and tear, but overall it is satisfactory. They have duplexes, which are not really big but not tiny. They seemed adequate. They had laundry in each one, so that's a plus.
