This program provides basic assisted living services to seniors who without daily support would require a nursing level of care. This program provides access to self-directed care, which means that participants have more flexibility when it comes to choosing who provides their care. The CFC option is an entitlement program, which means that eligibility requirements are less stringent and there is no cap on the number of seniors who may apply. To be eligible for this program, seniors must be 65 years of age or older, require daily support and meet the financial requirements of the state Medicaid program.
