Dad was at the skilled nursing side of Heartland of San Antonio for a few days. Their staff was wonderful. Their rehabilitation program was poor because they didn't do much with Dad. It was almost non-existent. He laid in the bed the vast majority of the time. Only once within the month that we were there did a group come to sing for the residents. The place was older, but it was clean. My suggestion would be to improve their rehabilitation programs and their communication with the families.
