My visit at Greatwood at Sugar Land was fine. They were very nice people, and the place was nice, like the cafeteria. The rooms were also nice and everything was good. They helped with the laundry, there was an exercise room, and so on.

We moved my mom into Greatwood at Sugarland, and the main reason is the residents that we meet when we are touring. They are very witty, talkative, and friendly. She visits with the residents, which is important because she has personal interaction. They have music. She is a Catholic, and they bring the Eucharist on Fridays. They also play dominoes. I love the staff. They know her by name. They really love all the residents. They make them feel very welcome. I cannot think of a better place for my mom to be. She had three meals a day. She does not have to pay for snacks, and if she wakes up at 9 and feels hungry, she can call, and they will deliver it for free. I think they have free manicures and pedicures, and she gets her hair done. Actually, she is 80, and she had her first manicure when she turned 80. They have a doctor that comes in and if you don't like him, you can take them somewhere else. If they need to go to the doctor, there is also transportation on Wednesdays. However, we are happy with the doctors that they have there.
