Solstice Senior Living at Sandy didn't have a homey feel to it. The rooms were not as clean and not as new as the others, but it was much cheaper. The person who took us around was very good. The dining area looked like a cafeteria, and it was not homey. They need to re-decorate and renovate the place.

Solstice Senior Living at Sandy was dirty and I did not like it at all. I wouldn't move there. They could work on their cleanliness. The bathroom had dried poop on the floors, on the walls, on the toilet, and on the sink. And that was the bathroom in their dining room. They gave me apple juice in a bottle, and they had taken the paper off of the bottle and just reused the bottle; that's very unhealthy. I would not recommend anybody go to that place. I was not impressed with any of it. I had a friend with me who said that I should not live there. I was not impressed with the person who gave us the tour; she didn't have time for us.

Solstice Senior Living at Sandy is nice, friendly, and clean. The staff is friendly, helpful, and provides good services. The food is good. The rooms are very nice and clean. They take you to interesting places, and have nice crafts and activities, and fun things to do. They have good landscaped grounds for walking activities. They have entertainment coming in every week. We also have opportunities to go to stores.

Solstice Senior Living at Sandy is very nice and we're very pleased with it. I like the space my brother has. He's been very pleased with all the meals. It's very open and light. They have a game room, a pool table, TV, people come in and do things with them, and all kinds of activities. A lady there has beautiful jewelry displayed. They have a lot of interests for everybody, male and female. Anybody we've talked to has been very nice and very helpful.

We have been residents of Solstice Senior Living at Sandy for several weeks now. We chose this community because of the prices. The community is fine, the food is a little slow, and they dont have amenities yet. We have activities going on, like games, programs, musical numbers and people come in to sing. The staff is very good.

My mother lived here for 3 years and that is how I found the community. I have now been here 8 months. And I love it. It is great! Monique, Kristen, Kenzie, Mariza, and Beate are great to work with. The entire staff is wonderful and I would trust them with my children. Beate speaks German and so do I. It allows me to speak German with her. The facilities are well managed and problems are fixed on a timely basis. The workers here are trustworthy and I can leave my apartment open and trust they will clean it while I'm out. The activities and entertainment are great and getting better every month. The food is done by Mariza and he does an outstanding job. He delegates very well to the staff in the kitchen. The meals are tasty and prepared like a 5 star restaurant. The community has a European appeal. If I had to work in a community in this industry I would choose Solstice.

Solstice Senior Living at Sandy was very good and had a first-class place. They offer everything, all the way up to one on one care if needed. They have a fabulous dining room, library, and activities, which are well-planned to the enjoyment of the residents.

My husband is beyond assisted living, so we chose Sandy Regional Care Center. It's a very nice facility. They involve him in activities when he is able. They're on top of his medications. We have a hospice nurse going in as well. We've been very pleased. It's pretty much a typical skilled nursing facility room. He's got a room for two, which is semi-private and a little cramped. They have larger rooms and when they have one available, we'll move in to one of those. The food is great. The staff is very caring. I've only attended one activity, which was a musical activity and really good. Because he falls a lot, they were very helpful in moving him right by the nurses' station. It's set up in a way that they could pretty much see the whole hallway from where they're at and see what's going on, so I've been very pleased with that. They keep me posted on every change or every event that happens.

Our tour was great. The facilities were good, the meal was also good, and the rooms that we saw were acceptable. The sales staff was wonderful, they presented all the materials to us well.
