My mom was at Springtree Healthcare. The first impression was not good because they did not even know I was coming. Apparently, the admission lady was not there. The night people had no idea what to expect from my mom. There was some confusion when we first got there, which really upset me after we had driven five hours to get there. However, it got cleared up quickly because I called the admission lady. There were several staff members that were really good when I talked to them on the phone, but I didn't get to see them in person. The activity lady was great. I got to talk to their speech therapist and physical therapy assistant, and both of them were really good. The physical therapy assistant did all of the physical therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy. My mom had a very short attention span, so she did not participate in other activities. She was also in three different rooms and they were all nice and very clean. The place appeared to be very clean from the outside. Also they were easy to get in touch with.

The Harmony Collection at Roanoke is very nice and very clean. The people are very helpful and cooperative. We're very happy with the location and the selection. The food is really good and I've dined with my mother a few times. The staff is wonderful, too. She likes the daily exercise, and she enjoys the activities like bingo and artwork.

The Harmony Collection at Roanoke is very nice. But they won't keep my dad because they don't have the medical capability to deal with him. The place itself looks very elegant and pretty. I'm not happy with the staff's services they've provided to dad, they're new and I don't think they're able to deal with anyone that's got complicated issues of any kind. Their food is fine. There are lots of activities for the residents who would participate, I saw them playing bingo, exercise classes, and music.

We signed a year-long lease at Friendship Living and we couldn't be happier. It is a very nice community. The place is loaded with flowers. It is a 42-acre campus. There is a full restaurant, a full bar, pool tables, a library, an indoor pool, and an outdoor pool. They have a bus that takes you anywhere in town, and they have different activities like bingo, pool tournaments, and card games. There is parking, there's a newspaper, and there's a picnic pavillion. They also offer blood pressure screenings, all kind of medical assistance, and they even have dialysis on campus. The apartments are large. The one we're in is a beautiful 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartment that has a large living room, a full kitchen, a sunporch, and an outdoor terrace porch. They provide full climate control, and cable TV is free. There is laundry in every apartment, and garbage is picked up three times a week. The maintenance is fantastic too. We discovered a water leak in the water line, and they were here within seconds to fix the leaks.

I have been a resident of Friendship Health & Living Community for 17 years. It's very nice. We have good friends and a lot of activities. I still like it here. They go to shows, operas, and music. The staff is helpful. They have a café and serve one meal, which is dinner.

My husband was in here. The staff that I interacted with were very good and very kind. The facility itself is brand-new, bright, and provides a lot of opportunities for distractions for keeping the residents busy. I had a meal with my husband, and the food was hot, nicely presented, and tasty.

It was very nice and treated me very well. The place was beautiful and the kind of place where you'd want to put your loved one. The young lady who showed me around was the selling factor. She was great and caring, and I really liked her a lot. I also liked what she showed me during the tour.
