My wife has only been there a few weeks. She has Alzheimer's and then had a stroke. She went straight to Memory Haven from stroke rehab. One of my concerns was if the staff would take the quick easy way and help her to dinning in her wheelchair or if they would take the time to help her use her walker which is best for her to regain what she can from the stroke. I was happy to see that they were willing to take the extra time that is beneficial to my wife. They feed the residents so good that she is already starting to gain weight. After 49 years of marriage I was skeptical of her being anywhere but with me. The staff has taken such good care of her that I am resting easier. They are helping her with her therapy. If this continues my biggest problem will be buying her bigger pants. I rated it 4 on value only because all memory care is so expensive but they have been great so far.

Had a relative here recently, Linden Grove is out of compliance with state requirements. Administrators and Director of Nursing will not talk to you even when you have a serious concern about the health of a patient. Communication is not good and no one at any level ever returns phone calls at this facility. They do not properly take care for wounds or surgical sites which has resulted in infection and even worse outcomes. Even though clothing is marked with the patients names, they lose entire wardrobes. My heart breaks for the Nursing and rehab staff there that genuinely do care for their patients. Sad that these wonderful people have to work under leadership that seems to only care about putting bodies in beds. This facility desperately needs a leadership overhaul.

COH the Lodge is a very clean facility with caring staff. My aunt has been a resident for two years.if there is an issue ,it is resolved in a timely fashion. I am contacted by the manager or other staff member when they have questions or information to provide pertaining to my aunt's care.

The Peninsula is a good place. It is independent living, meals are served, there are several options every day for meals, and they have a lot of activities, ranging from bingo to lecture series to music -- various things like that. For the last year during the pandemic, they have been extremely careful, doing things like wiping down surfaces and not allowing people to eat in the dining room. Now they're starting to let a few people at a time in the dining room. We have not had any COVID-19 cases here that I'm aware of. The people are good, nice, and pleasant. They have a lot of pets here; most are small dogs and cats, and they are not a problem. I have been a resident for two-and-a-half years now. I have a one-bedroom with a very large balcony. All of the rooms have balconies. There are also two-bedrooms and studios. We had a book club for a while, I was in charge of that, and I volunteered to do that. We played a lot of cards, and various musicians came in and played lots of country music and stuff like that. I think they have courses on Egypt at this time, a lot of coloring and arts classes, and little craft projects. We have a nice library. It also has a number of tables in it and it's the game room too; it works out pretty well, and it's a pretty large library. We have a very small exercise room with just two exercise machines in it. They do have live exercise classes every morning. I think sometimes they use a video, but usually there's a person who leads it. We have a beauty salon that also does pedicures, manicures, and massage therapy. They have a bus that will accommodate a wheelchair. I'm consigned to a power wheelchair, so I have transportation, which is very nice. The staff is competent and very concerned about the care of the people.

My parents just moved into Meridian at Stone Creek. It looks really nice, but I can't really say too much about it yet. They are pretty much independent, so there hasn't been a lot of communication with the staff, but they've been very friendly and helpful. Their apartment is beautiful, and I was able to see it before. It's 2-bedroom, 2-bath, and it's really nice. They have a pool room, and a library.

I have just been really happy with everything at Meridian at Stone Creek, including all the help they gave us with the move in and the safety with the COVID restrictions. It sounds like the food is delicious. It's really clean, it's a fairly new community, and it looks like a hotel; it's gorgeous. My dad is in a one-bedroom. The room is really beautiful, it's freshly painted, and I think it even has a new carpet. It has a small kitchen area and big windows that look out onto the grounds which are kind of like a park. The staff has been really helpful, I call them for all kinds of things, and they've always been responsive. For instance I was really concerned he would even remember where his room was, so they put his name on the door right away. When we walked in I said that he was gonna need his name on the door and by the time I left it was already up.

Solstice Senior Living at Tacoma is where I'm going. I've already made arrangements. The tour was good. The girl who gave us the tour did a good job. She took us through the whole place, and she explained everything to us. She gave us a tour of about five to six rooms. They have remodeled the whole place. It is where I want to go. It was well done. The staff member, for someone that hasn't been there very long, was really knowledgeable. She was good. The place was beautiful. It has always been a friendly place and they have things to do and places to go. They have everything I need and if something happens, like if I get sick, I don't have to move.

Solstice Senior Living at Tacoma was a huge place, and in order to eat in the dining room, I would have to drive from my apartment to the main building, and it was all uphill and narrow straight ways. The apartment itself was not clean enough to suit me, they didn't have kitchens, they just have a tiny sink with faucet and refrigerator. They didn't have a stove, washer and dryer, and it has only one bathroom. They had all kinds of activities available, but you would have to drive your car to the main building for that. They had a huge dining room, and it was mandatory to dine there. The young lady that took us around was friendly, and she was nice, but the staff we saw when we toured around was not friendly.

I didn't have a real good impression of The Meridian at Stone Creek. The room seemed fine, but what they expected financially was a little much. They take them on little trips, and they take them out to eat. It's a nice facility. It's like staying in a nice hotel. Even if Dad had tons of money in the bank, I don't think it's a place that I would've moved him. I didn't get that homey feel from it. The marketing person was very helpful and very informative.
