Moving to Echelon of Tucson from San Diego was the best move we could have made. My husband, disabled Navy Chief retired, and I absolutely love living here! We couldn\'t have found a better all inclusive, active lifestyle, senior housing community if we tried - especially at such complimentary rates in such a spacious, ADA compliant, well fitted and comfortable apartment. We enjoy water aerobics, Friday outings, afternoon movies in the onsite theater, baking class, Thursday night socials, bookclub, and much much more. Plus the dining experiences are fabulously fulfilling. We have formed many wonderful friendships over a hearty meal. A truly great living experience all the way around.

I chose The Echelon of Tucson because I like the layout of it, and it's not too big. They have about 64 units, they're nice, and sort of mid-sized, so I like the size of it. It's an older community, so the landscape is very grown up, and you'd have very pretty surroundings and a physical layout. I was able to see an apartment that I really liked; it was really nice. The staff was very friendly and answered all my questions, and they've done good with the follow up since my time there. I tasted the food, it was very good, but it's still institution food. The place was very well-kept and very clean.

We will be moving into the Echelon of Tucson in about 10 days. It is a very nice and upbeat situation. It is an older complex, but it has been maintained, kept up, and modern. We are thrilled with the apartment. We saw it beforehand and now, it has been renovated and prepared for us with fresh carpeting and paint. It is a corner two-bedroom, two-bath with covered parking. We have a small pet who is welcome. There is a very attractive courtyard right outside our front door with nice grass and rose bushes. It is very pleasant. We especially like their dining room facility as compared to others. The wait staff is very accommodating. They're in the process of beginning renovation of their major recreation areas that was badly damaged in the monsoon time. The movie theater is right off the lobby. They have happy hours and social gatherings in another area. I know someone who lives there who really approves and enjoys the beauty shop that they offer. The staff members are happy. I have had people stop what they're doing on the job to greet my husband and make us comfortable. To me, greeting someone they don't know at all is a good sign because they like where they're working, the environment, and the people. We are very satisfied with what we found in all departments.

The people who showed me around Echelon of Tucson were friendly. It seemed very nice and well kept. They told me about various activities that you could do there. The dining area was very nice, the people who did the serving were nice, and the food was good. The apartment had plenty of room. The amenities and everything I saw seemed very nice. Everybody was nice, very amenable and helped out and offered suggestions.

Echelon of Tucson is a very nice facility. The dining facility was really nice and they have food options. It was very clean and the units were nice. It was an old apartment complex and they have different-sized units. They also have different kinds of assistance. It looked pretty good.

I am at the Echelon of Tucson, and it's not as good as I thought it would be. They have a kitchen, and they give you boxed meals. But I could hardly chew the meat because it was so tough. They clean my place once a month, but I have trouble with mails, so it just stacks all over the place, and it is driving me nuts. They do things like bingo or TV, crossword puzzles, and there's a movie about every afternoon. They have a Bible study which I thought they stopped, but I guess they started that again. They have one common room downstairs and one for TV, I think. I have never been there because I am in an electric wheelchair. When I got this place, I had to use my savings to buy furniture, $1780 is a lot and I am not really getting much at all. I got the smallest room in the place. My biggest problem is, of course you need to take a shower, but I have to pay close to $700-$800 just to replace the bathtub.

My mom was at The Echelon of Tucson Senior Living for a few weeks, and then they basically told her she had to leave, so I wasn't pleased. The facility itself was nice but a little dated. The residents were all very nice. Management, however, didn't have their act together at all when it came to individuals who needed some care. They're just managers who run an apartment complex and that's all they do. They had some nice activities for the seniors in terms of happy hour and music. The food was good. They had a pool and a Jacuzzi. However, they also told us that there were ambassadors to assist with the new residents when they live there but that was false. There were no ambassadors, so I didn't appreciate management misleading us in that manner. I'm so displeased with the management part of it. However, if you're an elderly resident who doesn't need any assistance or have any issues, then you're fine.
