Our tour was very positive. We were impressed with the amenities they had to offer and the wonderful activities they have planned. They have a lovely dining room. The specific apartment we liked was a studio apartment, and we think it would be more than adequate in size. It's on the third floor and has a wonderful view; the bedroom and living room area have two separate windows that look out onto rolling hills covered with trees. I like how open and bright the place itself is, and the dining room has lots of windows and really high ceilings. The walkways are also open with lots of windows, and you look out onto trees and lots of windows. It's very well taken care of, very bright, and cheery.

The rooms were wonderful. The dining area looked clean and everybody was happy. It's very nice and it smelled really good. They have a library, activities room, a room where the residents can buy postcards and stamps, a laundry room for washing clothes, a garden, and a physical therapy room. They also have a lot of activities.

My mother is in here and they do real well. They help with getting people to their doctor appointments, they take them to public libraries, and they assist them with bathing. She's getting some therapy now. It's a nice looking facility, and the food looks really good.

It was a nice place. It was just a little too expensive. The staff seemed adequate. They showed me the dining room, the grounds, and the construction. They keep the doors secure so if a tenant walks out and doesn't have their key, they would be locked out, whether it's winter or summer, so I didn't really like that. They do it for security, but it needs to be watched pretty closely, because if a person is suffering from dementia, they may walk out of the door. It's free to go out, but it's not free to come back in. They were about to show a movie and some people were making popcorn when I was there. They have pianos, TV rooms, game rooms, and exercise rooms. The building was nice, but in the area where they were doing construction, there was an exit for the tenants, but they would have to climb 12 stairs to get out, and that's not good for old people. If you lived on one end of the building and you want to come in your door closest to your building and not have to walk a long distance, you would have to climb the stairs, and that was not great.
