The rooms at Chateau Cupertino were a little bit small, but adequate. The showers were set up so that I could get into it myself. They had a full meal plan that you can eat downstairs or you can bring up to your room. The food looked really good. They had a big salad bar. They had activities there like an exercise class. It was well set up and easy to get around. Sometimes, I have to use my scooter because my knees are bad, and it's well set up for that. It is independent living only. The staff was wonderful. The price overall without any added charges was the best of all of them. The rooms had a kitchenette.

Chateau Cupertino was an old building surrounded by an apartment complex. You can't see anything out the windows, but there are patios in some of the rooms. All you can see if you live there is parking lot. If you have a car, you must take it out at least twice a month or you can't leave your car there. The person who gave me the tour was nice enough and knew the answers to my questions. The facility was old, dingy, and they had over 100 people in there. They need to paint the interior of the place and put down new carpeting everywhere, but it was clean, and it didn't smell.

My mother lived at Chateau Cupertino a year ago. It was a very nice place, but they raised the rent, so we had to leave. The facilities were kept clean and tidy. They had some nice activities, like live music every Friday, which everybody loved, and light housekeeping. The price exceeded our budget. The staff was very nice; we never had a problem. I used to go eat there at least once a week with my mother. The dining setup was institutional cafeteria-style, but it was very nice and tidy, and they had decorations during the different seasons. The staff accepted special requests like if you wanted additional gravy or something like that, they would do their best to provide it. It was very clean, tidy, and kept up very nicely, but it was kind of old and needed maintenance. It had a very quiet atmosphere.

My sister is in a two-bedroom apartment at Chateau Cupertino. They're excellent, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with them. The food is good, and they have meals for her. They're on time and have lots of activities. The facility is very nice and clean, and they have a very helpful front desk. They're right in the middle of Silicon Valley; it's the place to be.

I like the location of Chateau Cupertino because it sits between my 2 daughters and it's very close. But there's only 1 type of room that I would want there which is the 2-bedroom and 1 bath, and they have a very limited number of those. The other rooms were just not acceptable and too small. My first impression of the place was that it's very cold. The whole place was cold, it may have been me but some people like it cold. The appearance of the place was very nice. It was in the center of Cupertino and made me feel like it was not cramped, so it was nice. They had a nice layout. The person who assisted me during the tour was an aggressive salesperson, maybe like a realtor. Their dining area looked fine, people were eating and enjoying it. They seat you as you go in so you're seated with other people. I'm not sure if I like that idea or not. The exercise area, the game room, and entertainment were kind of all in the same room and people were playing cards. It looks good and clean.
