Description of Sun and Sea Manor

Scenery, support and security define Sun and Sea Manor, a memory care community. Our residents enjoy the gorgeous weather of the seacoast located in the quiet setting of a landscaped garden surrounded by trees. The welfare of our residents the priority, and our community staff members are specifically trained to assist seniors needing memory care.

Acacia Villas is managed by VIVA! Communities. Literally translated as "Long Live!", our name is an exclamation of the hope and expectation we have for each and every one of our residents to enjoy a long a full life.

Our activities program and community layout are thoughtfully designed to enhance your loved one's well-being while living at Sun and Sea Manor. Legacy Brain Health is a unique program created to address all of our resident's health-care needs, both physical and emotional. Pet therapy, music, art programs and fun physical exercise, accompanied by laughter and learning, are among the daily activities we offer.

We offer semiprivate or private rooms for our residents. Meals are served three times a day in a home-style setting that encourages socializing amongst our residents. Scenic and secure walking paths meander through the community, enabling seniors to enjoy the landscaped grounds and the cooling Imperial Beach coastal breezes.

Available Services

We encourage families to remain connected to their loved one by joining us for activities, meals and holiday celebrations. Though residents aren't allowed to have pets on-site, their pets are allowed to visit.

Besides our care staff being trained in memory care, we also provide health-care related services including medication management and arrange on-site visits by physicians, speech therapists and dentists. Other small but important ways we make living easier is by providing assistance with daily life activities, including bathing and grooming, housekeeping and arranging transportation.
