Atria Park of Lafayette is nice. If I had the money, I'd go there. The people were really accommodating, and they showed us the place. Just one word: superb. They have social activities, I saw a lot of games, and there was lots of stuff going on. Sometimes they do something one-on-one, and the atmosphere there was good. I looked at the presentation in the dining area, and the food that I saw was mouth-watering. The staff knows what they're supposed to say, they know their craft. They have one of the more modern assisted living buildings, but you can't even tell because it looks like a mini hotel. If I had clients looking for an assisted living place, and if they couldafford it, the first thing I would recommend would be this place.

We toured Merrill Gardens at Lafayette. It was brand new, very clean, with a very open plan, but a little bit sterile. They have an underground parking garage, which was nice. The units were nice, but a little bit on the small size. The staff member who helped me was alright. He was just filling in for somebody else. He was able to answer some questions but not everything. We didn't observe any activities. They have a small gym, a small theater, a card room, a small library, and a garden space. Merrill Gardens at Lafayette was OK; however, the layout was rather cold and confusing, and that was part of the problem. Also, they need to make sure that the people that show you around are more informed as well.

My visit at Atria Park Lafayette was great. It was a beautiful community with everything you'd hope to have, although it's expensive, so we're hesitating. They showed us one studio apartment that was very high-end. There were a lot of activities going on, the facilities were new, and the place was clean and bright. Aside from housekeeping, they had three meals a day plus snacks available, and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They had a whole menu of assisted living facilities if we needed it.

Atria Park of Lafayette is an outstanding community that's newer than one of its sister communities we have visited. It's a very large place. The dining area is large and comfortable. There are lots of options on the menu. It was a very good experience. They have everything from daily movies to outings to town, shopping, and casino, and a variety of activities off site. They also provide transportation to and from the doctors' and the grounds are impeccably maintained.

Atria Park of Lafayette was very nice. It's assisted living and memory care and very expensive. They had a beautiful view, they had a great dining room, a nice exercise center and activities, and they have a theater. The facilities were very nice, but they were a little bit more limited than what we were looking for. It seems to cater more to memory care and my clients were looking for a place that is more active. Though there are things there to do, it was really geared more toward memory care. We didn't eat any of the food, but we were there at lunchtime and the food looked great. They have a personal chef there, but the individual rooms were very small.

My mother is in the memory care of Atria Park. The director and the staff is fabulous, they do well with what they work with. They're very caring, and very engaging with the activities. I felt I picked the best place there is.
Although settlement in the area began as early as 1848, it wasn’t until 1968 that Lafayette was incorporated as a city. During this time, the city went from being a simple agricultural village into a commuter town. Today, it is recognized as a place with a high quality of life, low crime rate and small-town charm.
Assisted living in Lafayette offers seniors clean air and a correspondingly mild climate, not to mention a picturesque view of hills studded with magnificent oak trees.
Every year the city hosts the Lafayette Art & Wine Festival, where seniors sip quality wines and brews while walking among stalls displaying works of art, handmade crafts
and food samplings.
The Lafayette Library and Learning Center is more than just a library, it is also the home of the Glenn Seaborg Learning Consortium, where exhibits, lectures, workshops, films and discovery centers are offered to the community. The city provides a wide variety of senior services that aid in the physical well-being and social needs of every senior. Tea dances, senior exercise class and the senior picnic with music and softball are only a few of the activities that take place at the Community Center for the enjoyment of residents of assisted living in Lafayette.
Lafayette maintains two fascinating parks: Leigh Creekside Park, with its centennial oak, and Community Park, where some wildlife species and various types of vegetation happily thrive.
Residents of assisted living in Lafayette enjoy fishing and boating in the Lafayette Reservoir. Despite the small-town atmosphere, Lafayette boasts a wide variety of shops, specialty stores and restaurants.
Communities of assisted living in Lafayette are surrounded by quality medical centers and hospitals staffed by expert physicians and surgeons. Lafayette takes pride in having its own station on the BART public transit line. Trains easily provide access in and out of the city, as well as to other parts of the country. Residents of assisted living in Lafayette are served locally by bus lines operated by the County Connection for quick and convenient travel around the city and to neighboring areas. In addition to paratransit services offered by both BART and the County Connection, the city also supports the “Lamorinda” (Lafayette, Walnut Creek, Moragan and Orinda) Senior Transportation project which grants the use of the Lamorinda Spirit Van, which is equipped with a wheelchair lift, for seniors’ shopping errands and trips to local medical appointments.
