I visited this facility

I saw Valencia Commons. If they can guarantee the price that they gave me, then I would like to put my husband in there. I liked the rooms, and I think he'd be happy there. They had studios that had room for a bed, a chair, a TV, and a dresser, but they had a variety, and I saw two different ones. They had bingo, pool tables, and a sewing class. With Covid, you don't get to see everything. Everything was closed down, but it was very clean. They're cheaper than others. The staff was very helpful.

I am a past client of this provider

Right at Home Rancho Cucamonga was really good. We had somebody come in for mom from 8 to 12 in the morning, and they came back at 3 to 7. They gave really good care. They washed clothes, cleaned the house, cook, help her get up, shower, and got my mom walking around. They were there on time, efficient, and willing to work with whatever you want them to do. They're definitely worth recommending.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

We found a place for my parents called Valencia Commons. It is very nice and very well kept. The staff is very helpful. The food is good. Everything is great. They have everything they need there. They have a library, an exercise room, a small chapel, a beauty shop, a game room, and a dining room. They have exercise everyday, church activities everyday, beanbag bingo, and puzzles. Around 9:30 they start out with games or movie nights. They do something every hour. I really like it there. They have fun. The place is beautiful, but it is also very expensive.

We chose Valencia Commons for our parents because it was clean and the residents seemed alert, able to get around on their own and could carry on a conversation. In all the other places we looked at, people were like zombies. They have games that they play, take them on outings, have puzzles and exercise equipment, have people come in and have live music, and somebody comes and does exercises with them. The staff is very open, very helpful, and willing to listen to any concerns you have. I tried the food a lot, and it's very good.

I'm very pleased with Sunlit Gardens. It's very homey and very well kept up. They seem to provide all the things that my husband needs like laundry, meals, and a hair salon. The staff is very friendly, very caring, and gentle. They meet the needs of the residents. They provide activities for them, but in the memory care stage, there's not a lot of participation.

I visited this facility

Valencia Commons was nice, clean, and well-kept. The people were friendly and very informative. The rooms were nice, sunny, clean, and pleasant. We were there at lunchtime so we didn’t see any activities going on, but the dining area looked nice and the tables were set nicely.

I visited this facility

The room at Valencia Commons was very nice. I really liked it. It was only independent living, so if you needed more than that down the road, it wasn’t available. They had activities going on all the time. When I was there, they had an entertainment singer and a lot of people were up dancing. They also had a small library. The staff was very helpful.

To get a break from all that California sunshine, local seniors head to the Victoria Gardens regional shopping center, which is a premiere retail complex that houses a 12-screen movie theater. Henry’s Farmers Market provides a more earthy shopping experience, while Ontario Mills Outlet Mall is the place to visit for excitement on a budget.
