Alexander Gardens is a lovely coastal retirement community that provides independent living and individually customized assisted living tailored to meet the needs and preferences of each of our residents. We are located near the Santa Barbara Mission, and enjoy a mild Mediterranean climate that has led this area to be called “America’s Riviera.”

Alexander Gardens is managed by Northstar Senior Living. A company dedicated to providing a superior senior living experience for our residents and their families, Northstar manages a number of senior communities across the United States.

Featured Amenities

Fun and engaging activities are regularly held at Alexander Gardens, ranging from art projects and exercise classes to holiday parties and guest speakers. Our educational programs give residents the opportunity to learn something new and keep their minds sharp and active.

We have a selection of shared and private accommodations available, and all apartments are furnished with emergency call systems monitored around the clock to ensure safety. Meals are served restaurant-style in our community dining room, where residents enjoy three freshly prepared meals daily.

All throughout our community are relaxing conversation areas, where individuals can share memorable moments with friends, as well as enjoy times of peace and quiet.

Available Services

All residences at Alexander Gardens are provided with a daily “tidying” by our staff, as well as weekly housekeeping and linen services. We are always happy to provide scheduled transportation for medical appointments, and short-term respite stays are available in addition to our long-term residences.

Our skilled staff members are available 24 hours a day, so help with medication management, dressing, personal hygiene and other activities of daily living can be provided at any time.
