I went to Pacifica Senior Living Union City. It was a good size, the rooms were adequate, and they offered good services. However, there were no nurses on staff. The director was very intelligent and very easy to talk to.

My mother is now at Pacifica Senior Living Union City. She is alright there, but they could use more help. My mother plays poker and she likes the bingo. Food is alright. I have eaten there with her a few times, and it is decent. However, I don't care for the staff members. The dining area is very nice. They have a movie room, a gathering room, a dining area you can reserve for special occasions, a library with computers, and a gym for the people who can access it. It has pretty much everything you need.

I really liked Pacifica Senior Living Union City. It looked more like a nice hotel, it was very bright, cheery, really clean, they clean the rooms immediately, and they gave me a nice tour. It was just farther from my family. They wait on you, the food was for the seniors, but it was nice, and the dining room was nice and really bright. The staff was nice, the director was very warm and friendly, and even the patients seemed to like him.

I love Pacifica Senior Living Union City because it's in close proximity to me and my sister. The only thing I didn't care for is the Alzheimer's area. It's locked in. It wasn't as elegant as the other parts of the community. Otherwise, I thought it was really nice, but I would like them better if they would have a lot of walking area outside. Overall, it was nice, sufficient and more affordable. I had an appointment, but when I got there they were showing someone else who just walked in the door. So I had to wait quite a bit for them to show me around, I waited a long time. The layout of the place was less confusing to get around. The staff who showed me around was really great. She was very friendly, informative and a very friendly type of person. She's not even the regular person that shows you around. She was the activities director so she talked to me about the activities and that they have activities on the weekends, too. In the second floor, they had an open patio. It made me nervous that it only had a waist-high railing, if someone leans too far he could fall. It wasn't closed in and I felt that it was unsafe. Otherwise, the rooms looked sufficient and very nice with a little kitchenette and all that. The residents didn't need much because they have their food delivered to them.
