Situated on a beautiful, 26-acre campus in Colorado Springs, Liberty Heights provides a continuum of care with a broad range of senior living options. As a continuing care retirement community, we offer seniors the opportunity to experience the peace of mind knowing that should life circumstances change, we are well equipped to provide individually tailored care services that even include skilled nursing.

For a relaxing swim year round, our heated indoor swimming pool is always a good option. Outdoors, residents can challenge friends to a match on our tennis court and practice their golf game on our putting green. Our library is quite spacious and is home to a wide selection of reading material. Throughout the week, residents have the chance to participate in a variety of events, ranging from educational workshops and our Wellness Everyday™ programs to community socials and religious activities.

We loved Liberty Heights, but they weren't going to have any vacancies for about ten months or possibly longer. The memory care rooms were big and nice, more like an apartment with just a bedroom and a bathroom. We were shown around by one person and a few people that we passed by said hi. We didn't really get to know any other staff members. The one that showed us around was great, and he was good about following up after.

Liberty Heights has a beautiful view. They showed me a swimming pool, which is impressive. The rooms are like regular apartments with a living room, a kitchen, a bedroom, a bathroom, and there's a garage across the hall. They also provide transportation. They have a lounge, a card room, a sewing room, and an art room. They pretty much have a whole array of amenities.

Most of the time the food is terrible One has to choose from the left side of the menu - sandwiches etc. Everyone complains about the food - meat tough and overcooked, veggies overcooked and pale, so that one orders dessert. The menus sound wonderful until one orders them and sees food unfit to eat. Complaints abound and nothing is done. Many eat in their apts but then a 230 dollar a month raise in rent hits this January and no improvements are made. The bathrooms on the main floor were updated but the ones on the floors the residents use were not and the doors are so heavy, one cannot open and get their walkers in. A law suit will follow when someone falls. The only good menu on Friday nights was changed against wishes of the residents without any concern. This is ridiculous and corporate could care less I am told.
