The Executive Director is very compassionate and keeps the community on point. I see her wearing all hats to help make the community a great, comfortable and inviting place to live. She is very much involved in making sure the family members are comfortable and have what they need. The r apartments are different sized for residents needs. . Most of the care staff has been in place for many years. For me, this indicates a love for their work. I have been a part of this community for 8 yesrs...It is the people that keeps me here, the smiles, the caring, the love. Every community has its flaws, one in the bunch that doesn't want to be there. Here, that one is found out quickly and removed expeditiously. Brookdale Lowry is extraordinary. The staff will go the extra mile to create an environment for your loved one to have peace and enjoy the rest of their life. In a nut shell, the staff CARES!

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mother lived in Brookdale University Park before. It was terrible, the staff was not nice, not pleasant, and the turnover was continuous. My mom's apartment didn't get hot water on a regular basis. If you want to have a meal in their restaurant, it takes you three hours to get a ham sandwich, and when COVID came along, they absolutely locked everything down, provided no service, and meals on their doors. These are independent living people, not assisted. They locked down the library, they were rude to those of us who had family there; it couldn't have been worse. They would yell at the residents if they were trying to get some toilet paper. I think some people they will yell, "You can call King Soopers." It was just terrible. I couldn't express how awful they were. It was very expensive. They need to get new management from the top down, and get rid of the front desk staff. Everyone was just rude. It was no fun to go visit my mother there. She was happy 'cause mostly she didn't leave her room, and she did have a beautiful view. If you're in Colorado and you can see the mountains, it's a good day! But now the whole place just couldn't have been less friendly.

I visited this facility

Quincy Place was very nice. I had a meal there and I sat with three other older ladies; they were very nice. The person during the tour was very helpful. The dining area was very comfortable, but the food was a little spicy for my taste. I saw a smaller room and a bigger room, and they were all very nice. The cleanliness was real good.

My mother has been at Quincy Place since March. It is a really nice, clean place with really good food. The staff members are very concerned about Mom. They're always there checking out on her. It is really a good place and they're all excellent. She has a studio there. Amenities are bingo, movies, workout places, church, laundry, and hairstylist. They have about everything in there. They're sending me emails every other day. She also likes the meals. The place is really nice and clean.

I am/was a resident of this facility

Brookdale Tamarac Square is great. I'm very happy with this place. The food is good. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. The only negative I can think of is when we moved in the rug was very filthy. We have been asking to have it cleaned ever since we moved in. It hasn't been done, and it is still filthy. Also, the cost is high.
