I have been a resident of Belleair Towers for 2 weeks now. The community is fine. It's quiet and its clean. It's a 1-bedroom apartment and it's a nice size. They also have studio and 2-room units. The staff was fine and they clean the rooms once a week. I had just gotten out of the hospital, so I'm not familiar with the amenities and activities yet. They set appointments and they have some concerts available. They provide 3 meals a day. You either have it delivered to your room or have it at the dining area.

The staff at Belleair Towers was very helpful. Brandon showed us around. He was extremely helpful and he laid out all the amenities and all the other aspects that we were interested in. We had a list of questions and he was able to answer all of them. The place was fine. The rooms were very nice, and much larger than most of the others. The overall grounds were fine. We didn't have any complaints. We're very pleased with the whole experience.

We're moving in to Belleair Towers on the 30th. They met our needs because they take three dogs. It's a ground floor, 2-bedroom, 2-bath with sliders, which is important for dog people. The sliders open right out into the yard. You don't have to dress and walk your dogs down the hallway and out the door to let them do their natural processes. It'll be just like a little house for us. The apartment is on the backside of the building, and the yard opens into the enclosed area of the pool. Even as the dogs got loose, they can't go anywhere. The people were very nice and made the process very easy moving in. They have a nice dining room. It's not a big facility with only 50 units. It's more like a family. They have an enclosed swimming pool, which is outside, but it has a screen enclosure. It also has a Jacuzzi. Everything's very compact. If I walked out the back door of my apartment, I would be on the pool deck in about 50 steps. The activities are on the lower side because most of them are in-house like exercise programs and games. They clean the apartment and change the linens, and they provide 3 meals a day. We were invited to a Memorial Day barbecue, and the chef knew most of the people by name, asked them how their food was and if she could get them anything.

Belleair Towers was strictly independent living. They had a two-bedroom and two-bath, roughly 1,500-square-foot apartment priced at $2,450 per month, which is phenomenal. However, they didn't offer any assisted care for when the time comes, which was something that I would need to consider. It was too big and had a $3,500 one-time-only fee to get in. The place was lovely. It had a wraparound balcony, which was wonderful, and a lot of nice amenities and things to do. It had an office downstairs with an agency that would handle ALF problems should anybody need it, but that was a separate fee and had nothing to do with the facility itself. They had a pool with the temperature set to 91 degrees and a Jacuzzi that's 104 degrees, and an exercise room. However, they had wallpaper in the kitchen and bathroom that was a little outdated and needed to be upgraded, but other than that, it was perfect.

My wife and I are currently at Belleair Towers. The service is adequate for now. They kinda cut back on activities now due to Coronavirus. They're not encouraging group activities but they keep the residents busy. They have a library, a pool, and an exercise area. They don't encourage you to the dining area right now. Most of the meals are delivered to your room, and the food is good. Our room is spacious, clean, and nice. They have housekeeping.

I toured Belleair Towers. As a visitor I very much appreciated that they were allowing actual visits in the current environment so that I could at least see the physical space as opposed to just a virtual tour. They were running screenings, they checked my temperature, I had to fill out a form on my condition, and obviously they kept me away from the residents. All of that makes perfect sense, so I was very happy with all of that. I met with John, who was the manager on site. The room that I saw was a two-bedroom and I believe it was in the North tower. I thought it was a nice size, there was room for what I was looking for, and that all looked very good. The bedrooms were a little small, but it had a big living/dining area which I think was more useful than a big bedroom. The amenities were presented, the activities were discussed, and obviously the activities were limited in the current environment.

We went to Belleair Towers and we were accommodated and shown everything and they answered all our questions. Their independent living was rather small. I personally would rather have more people to be acquainted with and there were only 50 of them in the independent living, but it was a very nice facility and we enjoyed the visit. They had the pool, exercise room, activities, and transportation service.

Belleair Towers is old and could use some updating in the various sections of the building. The food is inconsistent; sometimes it's very good, sometimes it's very bad. The staff is extremely friendly, caring, goes above and beyond to make the residents feel comfortable. Overall, everybody who works there is top notch. I could honestly say that it's a perfect place, but the food is a little bit of an issue for my parents because they are picky eaters, and it's just inconsistent. They have a big variety of great activities for people who are wheelchair-bound and also have activities for the more active ones.

I saw one- and two-bedroom apartments at Belleair Towers, and they were both OK. Their dining area is large enough for what they needed. The staff seemed friendly.
