Staff generally are competent and the building pleasant. However if you take the tour, DO NOT BE FOOLED. Few activities, no medical transport, nor salon services. Management misrepresents what it actually offers on a regular basis to residents. The meals in particular are a fraud --- terrible cook. There is a disturbing, condescending attitude from mangement who are eager to cllect their monthly fee but slow to address issues.

My mom just moved to All Seasons in Naples. I can say that it is a gorgeous place, and I think they're trying to do good things despite the COVID pandemic. I think the food is good too. However, their callback and response time is shamefully slow, and that is a huge concern to us. They have gotten back to me and talked to me about it, but that is one of the things that I was hoping the most for. My mom needs somebody to take her to the bathroom to do things that can't wait. That's a big concern that we are working on with them. The staff is good, the maintenance is great, but that is the concern right now; I hope they improve on that. She is in assisted living and on level four out of the five levels they have, so she needs a lot of assistance. I'm hopeful that it will change. I think the food is excellent, I think they really try hard on that. They currently have to deliver the meals up to their rooms, so I think it's a lot more different when they're serving it in the dining room since they can do things in shifts with it. It's harder when you have to pack up all the meals and deliver them upstairs to everybody. I think the price is comparable, and not excessive compared to other places. I certainly don't think it's cheap, but it's not excessive. I think the staff is great, they just don't have enough of them, and that's the problem. With the activities, I would say that right now they're doing their best given the fact that people can't do much because of COVID. Like they have people doing music in the hall. I think they care enough to do that.

My parents are currently in Terracina Grand. The place is all excellent but my dad needs skilled care and they have exhausted all they can do at assisted living. Their apartment is nice and the overall staff is excellent, although the CNAs are just okay. The food is excellent and the dining area is spacious, clean and formal. It's like being on a cruise ship. Some of the activities are happy hour, bingo, movies, there's exercise daily, art class, Rootbeer Sunday, and so on. I rate them very highly for independent living but for assisted living my rating drops because they don't have caring people to do the assistance. They're always rushing in to push the button and turn your light off then ask what you want so they can leave. They're not really there to assist you, so we had to hire private help. Most of the staff members are good, they just don't staff enough people.

Beach House was a newer building, and it's very nice. Everybody was very friendly, and I was accommodated very well. I had a very good feeling about the place. There was no odor or anything like that. Everything was good. Landscape was nice.

Brookdale North Naples is dated and the rooms are small, but they're undergoing some renovations. The staff that I met there were very nice, I looked at both independent living and assisted living. Their activities are similar to most communities, they have outings and they have a pool.

I visited this facility

We visited and saw the hallways and the place itself. It wasn't good for us because it was older and the grounds weren't great. The staff members that we met were all very nice. They have activities that were the same as everyone. When we went to inquire and they showed us the common areas, we were not impressed. The ceilings were low and it's dark, so we didn't bother going any further.

I didn't care for Lely Palms at all. The place was very dismal, dreary, and depressing. It could use a good paint job. They had all these people in wheelchairs hanging around. For what I needed, I certainly didn't want to be there. The people who gave me the tour wanted me to make my mind up right then and there, but I couldn't wait to get out of there. The food was good though. The inside of the place was a lot better than the outside. It was more modern and a little brighter, but still not the feel that I wanted at all.

My husband is in Arden Courts of Lely Palms, and he's in the memory care. I chose them because they have wings off of the center of the facility, and so each one is like a little community, which makes it family-like. There are around 8 or 9 people in his wing, they have their own living room, dining room, and they're very caring. The staff is wonderful. He's been there 3 months at least, he seems to eat the food really well, and they have so many different things. They play games, they show movies, they had a cookout and musical entertainment, and we could sing along with them. The thing I really like is families can go in, we have the codes to go in 24/7, so it's very family friendly, and they invite families to the activities. They have 2 wonderful ladies who do the activities, and they have pet therapy twice a week too, which is great. The costs are a little high compared to the others, but it's just a first-class place, and the value of how they treat people is so good.

We placed mother in Terracina Grand and they’re doing a great job. They do all kinds of things like bingo, crocheting, they have discussions on current events, and they bring them therapy dogs and ponies. The staff has been very caring and professional. I had a meal there once and I’ve seen the menu. I’ve seen the food, and the food is good.
