I'm at Five Star Premier Residences of Hollywood. Everybody is so friendly and helpful, and I've had no problem adjusting. They have very good meals; I have no complaints with it. They're just very helpful. You ask them a question, and they'll help you out. It's very nice and very well kept. They are pet friendly, there's a beauty shop, a library, and all kinds of activities going on. I have a schedule, and there are activities all day long. It's well worth the money.

It was my first tour and I would not recommend Avalon Park Retirement Residence to anybody. The whole thing was weird because I had an appointment. I got there and then the guy came out and he was showing me and my mom rooms with people living in the rooms. We didn't actually see a room that was vacant. One lady was in hospice and he brought us into her room. In my opinion you shouldn't be bringing people in there to look at her living space. It was just very awkward. Every room we went into was occupied and I asked if we could see a room that wasn't, and then he was like, "I can show you this one, they're not in there, they're at lunch right now." The whole thing was weird. The dining room that they had was very small. We went into a whole bunch of different bedrooms. They had two-bedrooms where you would have to split with somebody else, which is not a problem. It's just the whole experience was very awkward. The staff was nice, very polite, and answered any questions. I just think he should've been better prepared with appointments, showing us stuff that we could actually move into. I'm not even sure if they had anything available because I don't understand why he would show us rooms that people were in. He should have showed us rooms that were available.

Everybody was great at Presidential Place and answered all the questions I needed answered. They were friendly and nice to me. The person who gave me the tour was great. The layout and appearance was great and good. The rooms were nice and clean. I was just a little bit concerned about some of the nurses because they were a bit rougher than others. That kind of pushed me back a little because I want someone to take care of my mother-in-law like their own mother. I saw some activities like people watching TV. They were laughing and giggling amongst each other.

My mother has been a resident of the assisted living of The Peninsula for several months now. It's a big community, and everything is fine. They pretty much cover things. It's a multi-story professional operation of Meridian Healthcare so everything has been fine. The staff actually did pretty good, other than the fact that in South Florida there are a lot of people that are not-Americans who don't speak English very well. My mother has a hard time with that, which is consistent in their area. She had a private room that's like a studio, with a bathroom, a refrigerator, countertop and all that. It's a good-sized and comfortable room. They have activities, movies, things and gathering, ice cream parties and that kind of stuff in the afternoons. They've got a good amount of folks there, like a couple hundred people, so it's a good size. Any problems I see, that's patient or customer-related and not Peninsula. I wouldn't say the place is perfect, but it looks fine.

My friend has been in The Peninsula for a little while now. Of all the places that he has been so far, this place has the most wonderful workers, and they seem to be caring toward the residents. They seem to go to extremes to help out. I really appreciate that because we needed that. The place is very clean. Everything looks very nice. I'm very satisfied. It is beautiful. They have a beautiful big dining room. They have so many activities for the seniors to get involved in. They have an auditorium and an inside gardening area. I'm very surprised. They have different size rooms. They have physical therapy and they have nurses as well as aides, doctors, and Medicare.

Presidential Place is the most suitable for my mom. The size of the apartment is good. They take good care of my mom. She gets three meals a day as well as medication management, which is good. They are providing good service and overall, we are satisfied.

My father has moved into The Peninsula. It's very nice, beautiful, and more affordable than any of other places I went to. The people are great! Most of the rooms have been renovated and are very nice. My father is very happy there. They offer assisted living and memory care. I'm very happy with the place. My father doesn't complain about the food. They have three meals a day. They have lot of activities. They offer yoga and music therapy. Every night they have movie night with popcorn. Once a week, they have a happy hour. They have ice cream day where they serve ice cream.

Emerald Park of Hollywood was excellent. The place was great. It's also all inclusive. The apartments were excellent. I saw a studio apartment, and it's adequate and clean. The facilities were excellent. Emerald Park of Hollywood was my second choice. The staff members were very nice. They have small concerts. The day I went, they had music.

I moved into Emerald Park of Hollywood. We're well taken care of and I really like it. They have a lot of different entertainment and they take us shopping. The food is excellent. My apartment has just one room and they're going to give me a roommate. It's an old hotel. The staff is really good, and it's worth it.
