Brookdale Kennesaw (formerly Wellington Place of Kennesaw) is a charming and cozy senior community that provides superb personalized assisted living and Alzheimer's and dementia care. Located in the town of Kennesaw, 20 miles north of Atlanta, our community is a lovely place that combines big-city opportunities with suburban charm. We've taken care of all of the details to make life comfortable and stimulating, from our life enrichment programming to the caring professional staff who serve our residents with compassion.

Our beautiful residences are bright and cheery, and we offer a choice of floor plans for private and shared suites. Each room includes a kitchenette, cozy carpeting, private bath and many safety features including step-in showers, safety bars, non-slip surfaces and emergency response systems.

The charming, homelike setting of Brookdale Kennesaw offers easy access for those with limited mobility. The intimate building design provides many common areas ideal for socializing, strolling or relaxing. Residents enjoy coffee socials in the sun room, cookie decorating in the dining room and board games or bingo in the activity room. Our dining room is a great place to enjoy a delicious meal and socialize with friends, and we offer private dining for special celebrations.

Available Services

The care we offer is highly personalized and we are dedicated to helping residents live as independently as possible. Our staff are available 24/7 to assist with tasks such as medication reminders, bathing, dressing, grooming and eating.

Carefully trained to understand the challenges associated with Alzheimer's and various types and levels of dementia, many of the same caregivers are with a resident throughout the day, helping with all their needs and giving them a sense of familiarity.
