We went to Laurel Grove. It was very welcoming and clean, it looked like the residents were active, so I was very satisfied with the place. The place was very nice, the staff was very open, and she took her time with me, so I was very appreciative of that. It wasn't rushed or anything just to make me feel comfortable, and answered all questions, concerns, everything. I saw apartments with or without balconies, the studio, and one-bedroom floor plans. Everything looked updated, and it was a nice, little arrangement. I saw the activity room, the dining area, a communion area, and I think I saw the chapel, and I was satisfied with all. I didn't see the actual food itself. I did see the menu, that would be a five, and also I was very impressed with their COVID check-in process.

I love Laurel Grove. I like the people, the food, everything. They have home care that comes in for the residents. I'm really pleased with the food. Their spaghetti was the best I've ever had. Everybody is nice. It's a lovely place to live. The staff is very personable. My cottage has 2 rooms, 2 baths, a living area, a full kitchen, a garage, a patio, and a yard for the dogs.

My mother refers to Laurel Grove as the lovely place. We liked the view. Some of the windows were over the woods rather than a parking lot. They showed us all of the amenities and described some of the activities. We were there on a Sunday afternoon of Thanksgiving weekend. They offered us a meal, but my father said no. That's the only place my mom wants to go. It's an independent living kind of place where you can gradually increase the amount of support you get. The staff member, Chad, has been phenomenal. We were very impressed with the cleanliness. The facilities were in good condition. My father was looking for activities exclusively for men like a woodworking shop, but Laurel Grove is not big enough to support something like that.

Laurel Grove had a lot of active people in my age range. The apartments were beautiful, and the staff was very friendly. They had a chef that’s wonderful, and the food was delicious. They had so many different types of activities every single day. The whole place was beautiful and very clean.

Our experience with Laurel Grove was great. They invited us to stay for lunch and answered all our questions. We met several of the residents and saw several of the available rooms and the model. The staff couldn't have been friendlier and the food was awesome. It was a great fit. They had activities for the residents every day to keep them active. There were also exercises, reading groups, dances, and movies during the evenings, and all sorts of things.

Laurel Grove accepted pets, and the visit was very good. The food was good, and the dining room was very pleasant. The staff was very outgoing. The people appeared to be very happy. They had a lot of activities; that's my thing. When you have depression, it is very easy to become isolated, so I have to be in a place that has a lot going on so that I get out of my room. That's part of my condition. The rooms were not as big as mine. Some had kitchen facilities so that you could have an opportunity to cook for yourself. I think that's a big plus.

Laurel Grove was lovely. They were gracious and the guy who gave us the tour answered our questions, followed up, and was great. They had lots of activities and a lovely dining hall. A lady who has been there for six months said the place was wonderful and I trust her. The place is just not as convenient to get to and it's almost impossible to find. It's off of the main road and there's no sign.
