I toured Pinegate. It was a very nice and professional tour, and the place is clean and well-kept. The manager is very nice, very knowledgeable of the facility and even the residents. They had small apartments, but they had variety, and I saw a 1-bedroom and a 2-bedroom. They had a nice cafeteria, and on the menu a variety of food, and they had a spot where they can cook, because they didn't have kitchens in the rooms. They had a place to play cards and different activities, a place to hang out with visitors if they wanted, and it seemed very nice.

Pinegate looks gorgeous, it was beautiful. The person who gave the tour was very nice and helpful. The dining area was looking good, everything there just looked really well-prepared and nice. She took me to the activity but I didn't see anyone in there. The facilities were nice. I would definitely recommend Pinegate.

Pinegate is very nice. It is excellent. It's the best of them all. The living quarters are very nice. They do a very good job. There are a lot of beautiful amenities. They have numerous activities. The food was very nutritional. For most of the people, the food is great. The staff member who helped me was excellent.

One thing that stood out at Pinegate was they have so many places all over the United States, so it can be like a time-share. Since you're paid for the month with no extra fee, and you want to go to Hawaii, all you have to do is pay your transportation and you could stay at their place in Hawaii. Plus, you can take one person with you. If you're retiring at a place like that, it would be fantastic. We were very impressed with it. They have musical programs, church, field trips and transportation to doctor's appointments. It's a very active place. The staff who toured us around was very helpful and gave us a good price. The place looked good, and the rooms had big living rooms and lots of storage space and closets.

I loved Pinegate. It was a great place and a nice community. The gentleman was very helpful. There were a lot of activities, and people were playing bingo. It was Easter when I visited, and they had games going on where they were hiding eggs throughout the building and the residents would find them. The dining area was a beautiful area. It was a very pretty community.

Pinegate was great. The environment looked really good, the facilities seemed up-to-date, and the entrance looked good. They had a lot of good assistance from the salesperson and the desk person. The people were in a pretty good mood. They gave us an opportunity to have my mom stay there for a little while to see if she would like it. They have music, they plant things outside, play games, and do puzzles. The people seemed pretty active. However, the alert system that goes around their neck wasn't working. They need to ensure those things work prior to giving it to the occupant. My wife and I enjoyed the food there.

We really like Pinegate. It's perfect for my father and close to where I live. It's a very clean community. They have three meals a day and all kinds of activities, but he doesn't participate. The food is good. The staff has changed over since he's been there, but they're friendly, and the manager is very good.

My mother has been living in Pinegate and she really enjoys it. Unfortunately, they change management every six months and that's frustrating for all the people that live there. The food is horrible; they complain all the time. If you're not the first one to get served, it doesn't necessarily mean you're going to get what was expected for that night. They make food for people with diabetes and heart problems, which has no taste, so she carries her own seasoning to the table. She said they get aggravated because the one that's currently managing them leaves to go workout all the time. It seems like it's just a stepping stone for everybody. There aren't enough activities out of the facility for those who are able to use their walkers and canes. She paid in advance for no increase and there are a lot of people leaving because of the food and the increase. She enjoys her little room. She likes the ladies that come in and out to clean and she likes all the workers. They adore the staff and the servers. The facility is nice, but I don't particularly care for some people managing it because I express my concern to them and nothing changes. The cleanliness is excellent. They should just get rid of the rugs in the hallway so it's easier for them to get around.

When my parents moved in, it was great. But then the turn over began. The food is awful. Sandwiches all the time at dinner. Stories from residence of being left at sites for hours after they have called for a pick up. This happens daily. New managers come in and like all corporate managers, talk a good game. Nothing happens or no budget to back them. The elevator has not had repairs or certifications since 2017. Failed, foggy windows in multiple windows. Multiple people move in and within a month, move out. If you decide to try and eat, the food is tasteless. It takes forever to get. The servers are young, so most likely under paid. They constantly late, overworked, also cleaning the facility. They are nice and caring to people who live there. That is one great thing. The people do care. They will check on you. It is HOT in the building all the time. The residence have two sets of washers and dryers to do their own clothes.
