Originally a hotel and built in the 20th century, The Merion is now senior community located in Evanston Illinois. The modern interiors and decors provides contrast to the rustic building that gives a warm and comfortable vibe. Residents of The Merion has access to our rich amenities that makes senior living a blast.

At The Merion, we are not just about retirement, we are about living well. Residents are provided ample opportunity to forge new friendships and take advantage of a multitude of rich cultural events, with an emphasis on the arts and live musical performances and entertainment, relevant lectures, interactive games, tournaments, and more.

Featured Amenities

Our community offers different floor plans that residents can choose from. We have studio, one bedroom, two bedroom and companion suites. All homes are fully furnished, state of the art appliance, kitchen with granite counter top, in-suite bathroom, and ample closet space. There are some homes that have fireplaces and balcony.

We have a beautiful garden where residents can walk or do gardening. Our state of the art fitness room is where residents can exercise and stretch their muscles. We also have a game room equipped with billiard table and other game consoles that will surely keep our residents busy.

Our staff are available 24 hours a day to provide care and assistance. We have a broad spectrum of services. Residents of our community can age in place and make the most of their retirement here at The Merion. We provide specialized care program to each resident and assist them with daily activities and medication management.
