Lake Forest Place is one of five communities owned by Presbyterian Homes. For more than 100 years, this nonprofit, faith-based organization has served older adults from diverse backgrounds throughout the greater Chicago area. We strive to be an industry leader in developing innovative and quality residential programs that enrich the lives of older adults.

There is an indoor swimming pool and weight equipment at the fitness and therapeutic center, a woodworking shop and a well-stocked library. On gorgeous days you can stroll along one of the many trails throughout the nature-filled, 49-acre campus.

Our chefs prepare such mouthwatering dishes featuring fresh ingredients that you likely won't miss cooking. Another helpful service we provide is scheduled transportation; when you need to run errands, you can sit back and relax as our private bus whisks you away.

As a continuing care community, we provide the health care services which allow our residents to age in place. Our Highlands at Lake Forest Place offers assisted living services, which includes not only assistance with activities of daily living but also housekeeping and linen service. At the Balmoral Care Center, our residents receive skilled nursing and memory care that is founded on the philosophy of person-centered care.
