We offer both independent and assisted living options, which means you won't have to leave home when you require supportive services. And our location puts you near all the amenities that Shorewood has to offer, including Rock Run Preserve, the BronkBerry Farm and Louis Joilet Mall.

The Timbers of Shorewood owes its creation to two friends who wanted to create an exceptional senior living community, and since our opening in 2002, we have done just that. What sets our community apart from other is our commitment to excellence and unsurpassed services.

Our apartments include all the conveniences of a home without the upkeep. You can select from one- or two-bedroom layouts that have full kitchens, views of the scenic grounds, an emergency call system and wall-to-wallng carpeting. You will also appreciate knowing that small pets are also welcome to move in too.

Dining at The Timbers of Shorewood features restaurant-style dining with a choice of entrees, prepared by our expertly trained culinary staff. Additionally, our staff organizes a variety of individual, social and wellness activities to suite the interests of residents. Favorite activities are art classes, bridge and garden club, and exercise classes. Our special holiday celebrations, such as our Halloween Spook House and Senior Prom, are also beloved events that we invite the public to attend too.

We are focused on providing wellness solutions to our residents so they can thrive and live a full life throughout their retirement. We have caregivers on-site around-the-clock to support resident needs with activities of daily living including mobility, grooming, bathing and more.
