My aunt moved into Palmer Hills. So far, it's great. We haven't had any problems with it. The rooms are excellent. The staff is excellent so far. They're helpful. She hasn't been there long enough, and I haven't observed any activity yet. They have Good Samaritan nurses, a dining room, washer and dryer facilities, television and phone put in, and buttons if they need something during the night. It's a great facility. I haven't talked to her about the food, but everybody that I talked to there loves it.

My dad is in Palmer Hills. It seems OK. He has only been there for a little over a week. So far all of the people who work there have been very accommodating and nice, which is very good. The location is very nice; it is in a very nice neighborhood of Bettendorf. The place is kept up good. My dad's apartment has a few small things that I thought for the price we are paying could be fixed up a little nicer, but it makes up for how nice the people are. He is in one of the smallest ones they have. It is good enough for him because there are lots of common areas that he could get out into. Basically, it is just really to sleep. It has a bathroom, which is a separate room and has a big walk-in closet. For a single person, that's probably enough for them because they all eat in a different area that is like a restaurant and there are a lot of common areas to sit. They have a big van that will take you to doctor's appointments that only runs Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. It would really be nice if it was Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The food is good, though.

Palmer Hills' apartments aren't bad. The studio they showed me was kind of small, and the 1- and 2-bedroom ones were kind of expensive. They have certain things on certain days. The dining area was spacious and clean. The staff was very cordial. I have Dish Network and they only allow cable TV in there, so maybe that might be an amenity that they might want to include in the future. The place is very nice and the food was pretty good.

My sister has been living at Palmer Hills for over a month now. It's a wonderful community and we're very pleased with her situation. I have found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Her studio-type room is acceptable and the dining facilities are good. Our experience with Palmer Hills overall has been very positive.

Palmer Hills is a very friendly, very active, and very clean community. The employees are very friendly. They have quite a bit of fun activities that aren't all exercise classes like that. The food is good and tasty. They have several varieties that you could order, not one item.

Palmer Hills was doing some updating, but the appearance was nice. I was a little upset because the person there didn't really assist us and we ended up with the assistant manager who was very nice but hurried through some of the things. They had music going on in the afternoon. We had lunch there, and the food was good. The apartment we saw was much too small. It'd be fine for a single person, but not for a couple.
